  3. Its not abour the cost! Mine has both sides adjustable which is adequate for most work, including that I would say. You'd not get me up that tripod in your pic.

  5. If councils bothered looking after tree stock it wouldn't be so bad, so problem is, land is saturated with water, clay soil and a bit of wind , yippee trees blown over . Did make me smile when you had 'volunteeer' tree surgeons out- so not that great !
  6. Today
  7. Mark, don't suggest hypocrisy...
  8. this is a topic about tripod ladders - with all 3 legs adjustable - so you can level the ladder on very sloping ground. Sometimes there is no point searching the internet for a cheaper compromise to each tool or piece of equipment
  9. They look extremely unstable to me! While not perfect for all situations I think the Topway is great for hedge and pruning work. TOPWAY EN131 Aluminium Lader Telescopic A Frame 13 FT 406 cm 8 Steps | eBay UK WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Max Open Extension Ladder Height: Approx. Aluminium alloy construction, durable and rust resistant. 13. A neo-Nazi who plotted to kill an MP with a machete has been left disfigured after a fellow prisoner slashed 'the length of his face' with a makeshift knife. White supremacist Jack Renshaw, who was handed a life sentence in 2019 over his plan to murder Labour MP Rosie Cooper, is said to have been 'striped' during a vicious assault outside his cell at HMP Wakefield. It is believed Renshaw was targeted for his far right views, although he was, like many of the the EDL, a nonce. Neo-Nazi who plotted to kill Labour MP 'is left disfigured after vicious attack with makeshift knife' at HMP Wakefield | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK White supremacist Jack Renshaw, 30, who plotted to kill a Labour MP with a machete, has been left disfigured after a fellow prisoner slashed 'the length of his face' at HMP Wakefield. What a shame.
  14. The contours of the next battlefield are beginning to emerge, and with them, a glimpse of how American dominance is evolving rather than fading. I have spent years inside elements of what is now… | Lew K. WWW.LINKEDIN.COM The contours of the next battlefield are beginning to emerge, and with them, a glimpse of how American... Interesting account albeit not verified. Capability wise we are so far behind the USA nowadays it’s laughable to hear Starmer talking of deploying troops here there and everywhere.
  15. I only have a 12, bought from Henchman nearly 15 years ago now. It can go in a lwb van or on ladder rack of tipper. In the ideal world Id have an 8 and a 12. Some gardens the hedges are under trees the 12 snags on. But often work off top step of 12 At least once Ive forgot to make sure back leg is near middle of two front feet and its started tipping, know a guy who broke his back.Still window cleaners fall too somtimes and not onto grass. Even someone who gets an office job cant run from pancreatic cancer. A tripod is one if a million ways to die. Good luck

  17. Rediculasly sensible Mark . ( for you ) 😀
  18. I had a bit of a result on my football acca yesterday, so rather than spunk the winnings on excess I’ve decided to treat myself to a Henchman pro tripod ladder. I’m leaning towards 10’ rather than 8’. Does anyone find the 10’ too unwieldy? Not interested in longer because it would be a ballache to fit in the Transit. Cheers.
  19. Wasn't going for the more obscure though I do like Jon Stewart, was thinking where he said 80 was too old to be a president. This weeks was "just because you land there in a boat 500 years ago doesn't mean you own it"... errr, European and that the US....

  23. That's not fair now Mark, throwing out a quote by Trump that hasn't aged well, this could last a few pages if we want to go that way with all he has said and then does exactly the same 10 years later. Don't think I have time today to highlight all his hypocrisy.
  24. is this gif ,before the stonning from Life of Brian? 😁
  25. I don't drink alcoohol anymore. Since 12 november 2015. But I did poured in me some of that irish green label "stuff" actually bought from Ireland by a friend who used to work in Ireland... Sorry to disapoint you ,with the "girlie drinks". Was all I had ,photo wise. Before 2015 I was in much more of a hurry to drink everything not take pictures 😂 Those around me took pictures of me after "several hours later"... beatings, vandalising, abusing girls, etc... you know what drunks do, right?! 🙄😁 I'll stay out of this topic .
