  1. Past hour
  2. More lead in this one, 280g. I'll add a steel ring on each, would have been better to buy them in advance and insert while it was printing.. While I've been trimming hedges today I left the printer on, I now have A pair of Stuka sirens.
  3. Check to see if the alternator or dynamo can fully charge the larger battery .
  4. Tom and Gerry was brilliant with the original Hanna Barbera cartoons . Not so much the MGM ones . I think it all dissapiars up its own arse when you have to use AI to detect if its AI you are looking at .
  5. He is running out of men but he wont accept that . Ukrain have been targeting Military stuff like planes on the ground with long didtance drones ships in the black sea with sea baby drones and land based stuff like oil refinarys , distribution buildings , amunition dumps etc etc . Russia have been targeting civillan areas , towns , and power stations to try and destroy moral in this winter . Meawhile Ukranian troops are valliantly holding ground and in some instances recapturing villages . Putin is not interested in any kind of deal other than complete capitulation of Ukraine . He will keep going untill he is spent IMHO . Also the Russian Genarals are bullshitting Putin about the advances they are supposadly making .

  7. I missed that story, interesting though. A few things maybe could happen - Putin could go more hard core on conscription, or use bigger weaponry, one thing I doubt will happen very quickly is him accepting a deal where he has to concede any of the land he invaded and grabbed - at the expense of a longer war and more losses. Interesting to see in the UK press how the Ukraine are making some quite targeted attacks into Russia with minimal human (well, Ukrainian) humans put into danger - drones and stuff - regardless of warfare, what they can do with drones and unmanned stuff is quite clever
  8. Russian Army no longer grows as mobilisation of troops is now less than the losses . Putins army now starts to shrink .

    No answer every time call
  10. it doesn't necessarily mean you'll end up with a hernia doing it that way
  11. Most text 'AI' is Google on steroids, no intelligence, just getting all the search results and making an average of the most common phrases or whatever, images similar. Very little intelligence. For example, ask AI for an innovative method to fell a tree, or post it a photo and ask it what to do and it will be useless. Ask it for a the best pizza restaurant in the area and (magic!) the reviews will make its answer... So... no AI is not what it is set out to be, no intelligence in it.
  12. 45hp Sounds epic
  13. Small hedge job today. I do love this 2511 clone! Loads more power since I adjusted the carb. Unsure what the roots will be like but I've offered to dig these out with the mattock and make it nicely flat.

    Fungi on oak

I'm back at this one today. The informationI could find, was that puffballs only grow on dead wood, and will not decay a healthy tree. Here is a better photo showing the position on the buttress root. Short video to show the spores, which are now dark green. VID_20251230_114444.mp4 Please ignore my ladder-hedge cutting safety shoes Should the fungi give any concern to the long term health of the oak? Thanks
  15. Looking for a permanent position in Leeds or close to. Full time ideally but would consider part time on the books. I'm new to it so don't have loads of experience but I've done a bit of subbying as a groundie for the past 6 months or so whilst putting myself through my tickets. I have CS 30, 31, 38, 39, 40, 41. First aid + F. Is anyone hiring, or know of anyone who would be interested? Thanks
  16. What was wrong with Tom and Gerry? They were doing stuff like that 80 years ago. 15 pages in and I don't think we've yet seen any justification for AI, other than funny cat videos, and certain medical and number crunching applications.
  17. It’s true. French wine is good for the brain!

  20. I ment to say round here it's a mix of flexothene and then really rather expensive clobber. As mentioned I am mostly in flexothene bibs with an ex RAF jacket or old sip or cut climb- just so any birds on the footpath know I climbed a tree once.
  21. I am finding most days wordle is taxing, I blame it on the kids! Wordle 1,655 4/6 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟨🟩 🟨⬜⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  22. I did put a new for a new filter on but that didn't speed anything up. It could all be sorted for sure but there is lots of things that need doing now, would be part way to a restoration. It came with a complimentary can of easy start. A new heater element helped, recently battery died so put a larger one on, I can it to start after heater 20secs usually second attempt.
  23. Thanks mate, same to you 👍
