  3. Morning all. Just two of us working today, hope to knock the last of the remaining storm jobs off the list, small stuff. Went North yesterday for an assessment, took the opportunity to stop at the David Stirling memorial on the way back, quite a location. Have a good one folks.
  4. Weather cleared a bit for today, back to work thankfully.
  5. Did not know there were guess words and real words, interesting.
  6. Good morning Stubby and all 😊
  7. I can't usually remember what yesterday's word was so when the words run out I should be fine with them starting at the beginning again. Wordle 1,588 5/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

  12. Hay! I found on of these for sale on special offer Webb Webb WEPHT26 26cc Petrol Split Shaft Long Reach Petrol Hedge Trimmer That is just a direct link to there the manufactures site, not where I saw if for sale on offer. But do you think it would be up to the job? or up to the job ish? or not? I mean compered to my battery powered BOSH? Thanks
  13. I was not sure if the battery on my Bosh strimmer was not holding charge or it was simply not up to the job! The hwksmoor I posted a link to from Toolsations web site, why do you think that? is (as last poster said) not enough engine cc size? or do you think it will just brake? So the blades I posted a link to from screwfix no good then? Do you mean hire a contractor? from the video i posted in the OP, how much do you think that would cost to do the job? what kind of contractor did you have in mind?
  14. So you think a 26cc engine is to small and battery power no good then/ What is a forestry clearing saw?
  15. what age of pick up you looking for ? not to sure about the Hilux pick ups that are around 10 yr old mark,, i know of 3 people ATM that have had there pick ups recalled by Toyota for chassis corrosion, 2 are lads i shoot with and one is a lad i fish with ,the worst one is the lad i fish with he got it up in the air this summer to steam clean the old wax oil off it and it ended up with holes in the chassis and cross members, this i have seen photos and a video of it and its shocking, my old shogun at 20 yr old is far far better underneath than this Hilux at 11 yrs younger, the other 2 are both with Toyota UK atm having the chassis renewed,

    Jokes???

The Louvre thieves chose a getaway vehicle that France will not try to stop.
  18. No historical building consent, no permission etc. A "**************** you!" building! Typical of Trump for last 50+ years.
  19. Better off with an old fashion bashing hook.

Yeah, I'm not going to do that every day. It's fine on vibes etc though. Impressive machine really. Apart from this monstrously bad running on. And I mean bad. Like quarter throttle easily. Wasted loads of effort dragging the chain to a stop on wood and using the chain brake unnecessarily. Not to mention it's horrendously dangerous if you don't have your wits about you. Where you'd normally gribble through the last inch of cut so the chain has already stopped when it drops into space, you now have to worry about it picking back up to quarter or third throttle. You're effectively stood there with a machine gun that's stuck firing unless you want to abuse the chain brake.
  21. How did you see that, he has banned photos and videos of the work being broadcast, proud of what he is doing I think... Given the speed of the design, award the contracts, work out the programming for the demolition and rebuild, get the workers to start - pretty quick for a $250 million build - I suspect that it will be to the standard of your typical Barratt house.
  22. Which would be this chart then:
  23. I see that Trump is knocking bits of the White House about again. Made a patio on the rose garden, added lots of vulgar gold to the office, now knocking down the east wing to make wake for a huge posh canteen. Nice to see a Volvo swing shovel there instead of a Cat.....

Doesn't feel like it and the saw generally doesn't do much work so is in good nick. Will check though.
  25. Vat of Madras to pot up - just have to get a brick out of the freezer in future mornings!
  26. I would think the tendons in your forearms will soon be a much more important issue.
  27. Is it possible the trigger mechanism is a little bit sticky? So trigger not quite returning all the way?
  28. As has already been said.....that Bosch (or any Bosch garden product) is only suitable for light domestic gardening work, in gardens that are already well maintained to a good well kept standard...not for getting an overgrown garden back into shape. You have the wrong tool for the job. You need a decent brush cutter (clues in the name) or a more heavy duty version of a brush cutter, called a clearing saw. Once you have it back into shape and you want to do some light edging work on inch long grass, then start using the Bosch (if it lasts)
