I need new chains for my t540XP. What is the difference between these two, apart from price?

Also, is the best option for fastest cutting speed?

Thanks.

I agree with IC The Stihl full chisel would be fastest but you will have to get aloop made as it is a different number of drive links than husky for a given bar lencth . Failing that the Oregon is better than the Husky chain that comes with the saw . That is more a home owner/hobby.pants chain ....

They were just on the shelf at my dealers, you just need 2 more drive links then the 201 of same bar length.

Thanks guys. Trouble is that I don't have a local Stihl dealer that is selling it in loops and the stupid online policy means I can't get it, so I'm stuck with the Oregon or Husky loops.

Oh well.

The Stihl online policy no longer applies :001_smile:

Rob D has what you are looking for.
