Greetings everyone! A sapling, green-shoot, Arbtalk Newbie here. Wanted to jump on and introduce myself, Hi 👋 I’m Mike and I run a small, firewood business called Verrington Firewood, supplying processed logs to in South Somerset, Dorset and the surrounding area. I’m looking to build up the business this year and take on more customers. Which means I’ll be needing more wood. I’m looking for any help, advice or suggestions. We are lucky to have a large Dutch barn on site with plenty of space and good access. It’s just me and my incredible partner, Sarah, usually with the unwanted help from Pip & Max, our Cockapoo and Old English Sheepdog. I’ve set up a profile with a Tip Site and would like to invite any of you guys who are working in the South Somerset/Dorset areas to consider us when you’re looking for a place to offload any hardwood/softwood cords. Coffee machine is always on. 😉 Looking forward to getting to know you all. Mike & Sarah

Easy access dropsite located off the Pewsey to Burbage Road B3087. Large 6 car driveway with direct access to road and space to turn around a lorry. Softwood and hardwood welcome, please drop wood on the EAST side of the carpark. In front of the gravel driveway. Cash paid (please contact first to tell me the price and species) or there’s wonderful locally brewed beers I can offer. If you just need a place to drop for free, you can drop it outside at any time of the day, any day of the week, there’s no need to contact beforehand. Thanks in advance!

Hi Looking for any wood hard/soft any size we will cut them up ourselves. Message me ahead of time and we can come to a price for the amount and also so I can make sure the van is off the drive. Easy off loading plenty of room and we live on a cul de sac so of a main road as well. I do have what'sapp if you want to message me on there

We burn all wood including pine/Leylandii. We have a 5 KW wood burner. * We have paid Arborists/Tree Surgeons £50 to £100 for a tip load, depending on whether it's hard or soft wood. * Call Mike 07971 580692 or Liz 07971 580693. * Double driveway immediately next to road and very easy tip site. * You can tip straight from the trailer, call ahead and we'll help unload.

Can accept any amount of logs, doesn’t need to be cut into small pieces. Access to the site by two locked gates down a track with enough room to turn around in the field with a semi hardcore base. If unable to drive through second gate I’m happy for you to tip in front of second gate down the track. Please get in contact for more information. Hi folks, I’ve just added my private address as a tip site just south of Lincoln, half mile from new ring road on A15. It’s going towards our own domestic use for our family running two stoves one for hot water and heating. With prior notice I’ll more than happily take anything burnable above 3inch but cannot take brash or chippings. I can assist unloading. But the grass out side has plenty of room if i’m at work. I’ve got a large ifor trailer and means to cut and chop. Happy to pick up from your job site or yard if my shifts allow. We have a large stock of potato crates for sale. Made of pine planks, 7in x 1.5in in varying lengths. Suitable for firewood, shabby chic design etc. Images can be provided if requested. Dimensions:153cm x 119cm x 114cm 70kg in weight. Not standard size, but if using for firewood etc this would not matter. The crates have been used to store potatoes only. £20 inc VAT each, collection from North Norfolk. Delivery can be arranged depending on quantity required and cost calculations.
