  1. I’m not bad at cooking. I don’t do anything very complicated but I can make something out of nothing pretty reliably. I’ve noticed a few other forum members over the years seem to have some good ideas too. Post them here. I’ll start us off. From the plate up: Warmed plate Fried bread (toast for the infirm and elderly) Avocado, chilli, garlic, balsamic vinegar and olive oil mashed up Black pudding Fried eggs Salt while the eggs are frying and black pepper once you’ve split the yolks Bon appétit.
  2. Cutting some nice beech yesterday and today. Site was rather inclined with no vehicle access. Slabs and trunks slipping around [emoji51] Cutting went fine until... But the quality of the planks, gentle spalting and fantastic grain. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  3. Hi Does anyone use microbull at treecare or forestry jobs? If so how it have been working. How much maintance needed and have you find something what is just design wrong. Allso intrested about used ones if anyone knows where to find those
  4. Thinking of getting one but most jobs are hilly or with bad access so use of Ramps is a must. I have a stump grinder with electric drive and it can go up steep stuff and drive into the pickup. How good is the drive on a M500? Would it drive up into the back of the pickup? (folding ramps)
  5. Has anyone used these yet? One would assume them to be good as they’re built for purpose [emoji848]. ADVANCE ProCOM ear defenders set - Smart, efficient, comfortable communication WWW.STIHL.CO.UK
  6. Does anyone have any experience of bypassing the dual handle operation on a log splitter to make it run on a single handle? I’m using rock machinery splitter and have rigged up a bit of a “bodge it” modification with a piece of rope (works, but isn’t as comfortable as a nice ergonomic handle!) Any ideas or knowledge grateful received
  7. Hi all I’ve recently purchased a bobcat E32 and looking for possible rotators and grabs to suit. I have searched previous post but was really looking for up to date reviews, advice and manufacturers. I’ve looked at the RSL which look well made and also the Riko. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
  8. Time for a new set of trouser what’s the best all round protection and rip proof ?
  9. Hi guys does anyone have an idea what these are, they love the monkey puzzle found loads of them when debarking it ready for milling Thanks Mark
  10. Another school day[emoji106]
  11. After 2 years. All Spruce. Cost a fortune in screws. Windows free from a demolished conservatory

  13. Hi Looking for a climber for a large pine in Hamilton. Must have rigging experience of large trees. Please text only to 07966 288136, day rate and availability. Thanks Andrew
  14. I know it’s a long shot but does anyone know of a nptc chainsaw refresher course for this coming Monday or Tuesday in the South West? Mine has just run out after 5 years and need refreshing before I can work on commission land. Cheers
  15. So lucky to get this, we were driving past this house just up the road from our yard and spotted it on the drive stopped and asked the mate says to me a timber merchant was already going to have it, so I give the matey my card and says to him if it don't happen please give me a call and he did, its so effing heavy and it has some nice burr on it can't wait to mill it

Thinking of getting rid of my 288xp but struggling to find others to compare it too, what’s it worth?
  17. Turn the key, wait for the warm up sequence (clicking noise, normal), push the start button- a click and nothing else. Clicking noise continues. I've checked the battery, which is good. Any suggestions on what to look at next? Thanks Adam
  18. I'm in need of PTS OPS for various works in the Derby area. IRATA and climbers and groundsman for this Saturday night. Climbers on weekdays, this requires a rigging ticket and will be on going for the right lads. You can contact me on 07586817614 or email. [email protected] Thanks John
  19. Evening folks. Can anyone advise where I might be best placed to buy some euc seedlings from (not overly fussed about the variety). Or even whether to buy seeds - are they moderately easy to germinate?
  20. Ha not the pictures you all were expecting
  21. We have an ongoing conundrum with regards to a large accumulation of various landscaping waste, I.e non-arb green waste, cuttings, clippings, roots. Fencing waste, old fence posts, panels, old sheds from clearance jobs etc... Currently our yard is full of this stuff, which we get rid of by grab loader. We have around 20-30 grab loaders worth to shift.. Can anyone recommend a cheaper, more efficient way of disposing of this.. would it be worth hiring a shredder that can cope with waste timber (nails & screws etc..) firing it into 40 yard roll on off skips?, and would the extra process/man power and machine hire be worth it? Particularly interesting in hearing from people who have been down this route before. Thanks in advance.
