  1. I think anything laid downhill will die,maybe lay the gaps with spare material and pop some young hedge plants into the base of the gaps
  2. I heard of someone with the water in the oil problem,their solution was to drain radiator and refill with oil.Then they just took some oil out of engine every so often and put it back in the rad.

If you already have a grab or muck fork attachment,you can slide longer sleeves over two of them,then just park up so that the straps line up with two going on shorter fork tines and the two furthest straps on the longer tines. This method also prevents the cutting action that pallet tines have on the strap handles.

  12. I started this thread in case it was just me that was fed up reading sensible threads that disappear into pages of bitter slanging between the same old adversaries. I think arbtalk is a lot poorer for it,and seems to have lost a lot of the more valuable contributors.
  13. Carved this 10 years ago from a gnarly old lump of firewood,saves making a new one every year.
  14. Hoping to utilize the wood burner this winter to cook on and save on the utility bills! Anybody recommend a good small kettle and cookware,plus favorite recipes and methods. Also wondering weather to protect stove top with some kind of trivet?

  18. We are just starting to see the dieback in our area,and I would like to know how badly it effects the burning quality. what is the best policy?,does falling it stop the rot as it were or will it keep deteriorating after cutting. ps there are no public safety issues involved thanks
