  1. Morning all. Yesterday's plan came to fruition, nice roast dinner and got the trailer emptied. Physio first thing this morning then off to work. Have a good one folks.

  3. Morning all. Continuation of wind and rain to come here. Got the airport pick up this evening so thinking I'll go a bit earlier, stop by the yard and get the mog trailer emptied ready for tomorrow's 4 dismantles. If I time it right I'll have opportunity to visit the carvery we went to after the last Sunday shift, quite fancy a roast dinner. You around today Les? Hope things ok. Have a good one folks.
  4. Well we got them a few months ago, but you know Tom, good things come to those who wait! Rich what do you reproof with? I've always been reluctant to wash waterproofs as they deteriorate.

  6. We were fortunate enough to be supplied with Swazi jackets at work as the boss swears by his (I believe Rich Rule had influence there so grateful for that Rich!). By far the best jacket I've had and that includes climbing markieg. The length of skirt isn't a problem, indeed allows you to reach up unrestricted without the jacket pulling out of your harness and getting in the way. First time I wore it was dismantling 3 leylandii in persistent rain, had lunch in a dry t-shirt, highly recommended.
  7. I imagine a crossbow for north of 300 quid is not the perfect alternative for anyone priced out of a cube. We had to replace everything after our burglary last xmas, options for choice on some kit was pretty limited. I ended up with the stein cube. I don't climb every day, but if I've climbed 100 days this year the stein cube was a cost of .50p per climbing day, and it's still in decent condition. Not feeling disappointed.
  8. The wife has been missing for ten days now and the police just told me to prepare for the worst news. I'm broken, better head down the charity shop to get her stuff back.
  9. You mean he doesn't chew Alex's food!
  10. Reckon you'll need to ask Sailor that one.
  11. Sorry to hear that Les. Good move to share stuff like this and like stubby said we're always on the keyboard, you're amongst mates here! The meds can suit some folk well but don't discount other approaches, in the past when I've felt like that I didn't get on with meds but talking with a professional was much more benefit to me, might be worth asking the GP about those options. Keep talking to us regardless, and if a private message feels right I'm never far from arbtalk! All the best mate.

  22. I'll have some lazy days lounging around the cafe soon, I've 6 days off still to take before christmas. Good to hear about Igor last night πŸ‘
  23. Morning all. Quiet one yesterday achieving chores, working today, Lime reduction with a road closure at a busy junction so had to be Sunday, shouldn't be a full day at least. Have a good one folks.
