  1. My sentiment too, he's clearly declining and it's bloody sad to see him being paraded around to be ridiculed. Although I suspect if they wheeled him out in a coffin with a slogan on it he'd still get some support. It's ludicrous.
  2. Seems to be one of those quite often recently.

  4. Morning all. Stubby it's been around 16c here and the wind gusting 35mph, showers yesterday. Summer lasted almost 3 days! Good trip to the beach yesterday. Northumberland is lovely whatever the weather. Berwick behind me, Holy Island/Bamburgh in the distance. Have a good one folks.
  5. Went through the obscure stuff before trying the obvious one!
  6. Feel like I made hard work of it this morning. Wordle 1,104 6/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟨⬜⬜🟩 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  7. Morning all. Had a nightmare last night, there was a guy in a mog going around topping trees, then he'd have a full lunch and bugger off home leaving it all at his arse, I was having to go all round Scotland chipping tops and never got fed anywhere. No idea what that was about, Stephen! Think the Poppes and I might start our staycation properly today and have a run to the beach, Cocklawburn Beach south of Berwick is the favourite. Have a good one folks.
  8. Can the dad not be encouraged to cover the total cost? Guessing he was keen not to claim because the lads insurance premium is so high anyway, if the choice was the extra 600 or involve insurance companies I'd reckon the extra 600 will still be a lot cheaper.
  9. Just to update I've tried all the suggestions, well all except @topchippyles idea which didn't go too well for me. Seriously though, I've tried heating them with a hair dryer, and tried sticky tape with no luck. And the wax from strips won't go in through the protective mesh cover, the airline gave a tiny improvement but nearly blew out the protective mesh, and I'm convinced the mesh will prevent the hot glue from working. I'm at a loss now and can only listen to podcasts because music in mono is pants. Any brainwave appreciated.
  10. In the interest of balance

  14. Morning all. Cooler up here, 15c til lunch then up a little higher as the cloud clears. I'm off up north now to check the milk bottles on Stephen's doorstep, not heard from him in several hours. Maybe someone down there should check bottles on nightshift Bob's step as he's been absent too... Have a good one folks.
  15. Not your fault old chap. No-one expects a Gent born in the green and pleasant land to keep abreast of all these new colonies bastardisation of the King's English, that's what Ambassadors are for. Carry on old bean.
  16. You'd be better sending him a private message on here Jack, at least he'll get a notification for it.
  17. Hope he is Ova, The, Wurst, Pete. He's due a change of luck! Morning all, and good lunchtime Bob!
