  1. This is the funniest one I’ve seen so far.... ??.... EMPLOYEE NOTICE Due to the current financial situation caused by the Corona Virus and slowdown in the economy, the Government has decided to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early, mandatory retirement, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment. This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People Early). Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to the Government to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination). Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the SCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers). A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as the Government deems appropriate. Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for Dependents & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance). Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED any further by the Government. Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. The Government has always prided themselves on the amount of SHIT they give our citizens. Should you feel that you do not receive enough SHIT, please bring this to the attention of your TD, who has been trained to give you all the SHIT you can handle. Sincerely, The Committee for Economic Value of Individual Lives (E.V.I.L.) PS - Due to Corona Virus, recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, The Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.
  2. If anyone’s interested the space stations is in a good orbit for viewing at the moment and with the clear sky’s its worth a look. Also Venus was out in full affect again last night. Download SkyView or nights sky ( both free ) and just hold your phone/tablet to the sky and it will tell you all the names. May have to goggle for time of space station in your area as it nips along 8.25-30 pm north herts from the west heading north . Kids may enjoy!!
  3. We had the lead nicked off a roof at work last month around 100m of code 5 ! ( Hertfordshire) it’s not just replacement of the lead it was the damage the c...s did to the listed building getting it off. Had another visit Monday night had a break in on a small flat which is rented out ( mostly for security ironically) he was out they smashed door in rifled through . Just a matter of time before they visit again. My equipment is pretty secure but if you have the time and undisturbed no lock/alarm will stop them
  4. Getting serious now !
  5. Found a small blanket of these under some conifers
  6. Here’s my little day van/ camper had it about 5years on 80k now 160k !! done it all myself! Split charger - solar panel 12v leds chargers tv etc etc. No fridge so use a large Colman’s coolbox with a mdf cloth covered lid as a seat and a compost loo for just in case. Insulation was the key as the missus gets cold silver bubble wrap then 30mm celotex vaper barrier then 5mm ply then carpet any voids expanding foam. Been all over uk ! A month in Scotland doing the north coast 500 - Skye - lakes Cornwall etc. 95% wild camping and we love it big enough for us and the hounds I can stretch out in bed no problem!then I’m only 5’10. Bed slides out in 2 mins and cupboard is modular with water/ waste and gas and is out in 5ish minutes and I’ve got my van back. Would never be without one now.

  17. Lidl’s have got there little plasma cutter on sale tomorrow! £70-80 I think got some good reviews might be handy !
  18. i've got the one from lidl does what it says on the tin ! only use it if i hit a stone or metal and need the edge taking back a bit ! Then i usually finish by hand filing !
  19. thanks Scotty we don't get many trespassers only the odd walker "who sorry didn't see the signs " and the occasional youth ! the stacks in a small fenced paddock in the corner of the estate which will be pretty inaccessible for walkers and young children ! Obviously teens will get anywhere they please but with a totally fenced barbed paddock with padlocked gate and signage apart from digging a moat ( good idea ) that would at least stop the goblins with wheel barrows but that's another story.
  20. Here"s my two little cherubs ! Absolute nutters nothings off limits for them watching them team up on the squirrels is amazing . ( patterdale terriers )
  21. I have a growing log stack and was wondering regards to the safety aspect ! its on private land approx 200m from the nearest footpath shielded by a small wood but has a track leading to it ! there's the usual no trespassing signage a shut gate and have ordered a couple of " do not climb on the wood stack" signs ! is there anything else i should be doing to cover myself i case anyone decides to climb on it and has an accident .
  22. unfortunately i have one of those ! To be fair it was due to come down due to disease but maybe not in such a dramatic way .
  23. Agree with the venom I’ve got a V series 22ton and had it around a year and put roughly 100+ Ton through it no problems at all oil changed after first day use and that’s it starts first. ( second ) pull and away all day on 5 litres of fuel. Only use it on the estate so can’t comment on the road going version but I’d it recommend throughly! . Ps made my own table and adapted to one hand operation and jobs a good un.
  24. I hear Dwayne from axe men has passed away that’s sad news he was a good un RIP Dwayne
