Think bolle do safty prescription glasses with different colour lenses yellow dark and clear I think specsavers advertising them you'll be looking well into the £££ though.

, Seals are good if dont want to splash out £250+ I wear them on the farm. The dunlop thermo are also good but very bulky if you have to pull weatherproof leggings on.

I use these for strumming in the summer months as all safty glasses fog up and we sweating doesn't help. I find them comfortable all day long. As for wearing over glasses mabie some motocross goggles or ski goggles but you'll still get fog issues.

A lad at work had his finger tips off with a stihl hedge trimmer couple months back. When he arrived at Carlisle a&e they said the tips could be saved anyway after waiting 27hours.... no word of a lie. Thet tips could not be saved so they cleaned them up and bandaged up and he was sent on his way with pain relief.. thing is with a&e is a more critical person comes in they go first and you go to end of waiting line cant help that. But we would be lost with out the nhs. My good friend a couple years ago us travelling in the us he didn't have insurance and was hit by a car he broke his shin bone and cost him $200.000 he has declared his self bankrupt. NHS is a good thing but it's a shame that it's the likes of drunks and local scumbags that abuse it.

Wow lovely looking xc. Idrive a 05 v70 d5 the boot space is amazing. I keep all my kit in it. Best thing for me is the comfort and mpg. I've done 12.000 since march this year back and forward from carlisle to Newcastle rvi hospital if I hold back on the gas itll do 74.6mpg and sitting at 85 it still gets 54.3mpg. That ocean race is a fine example of a swedish wagon

The kids got this a couple years ago of a friend of ours. We just cut to bits off the tree each year to use as antlers.

You'll be better of using a heat gun low setting. You can heat the pallel up as long as you can still touch it with your hand. It will get hot but wont bubble the paint. Then to remove the glue I think petrol on a rag works best. you can buy tar&glue remover solvents but it's not very good at removing the stronger glues. But remember to give the panels a good wash after you remove the glue.

I own a wax Barbour they have there good points. Like keep you warm when its snowing... but most modern jackets are like that now. I tent to wear mine on the farm. If it gets snagged on on a fence or out like that I'm not that bothered. I've gone to the trouble of waxing it my self I used the Barbour wax ones not realy a fan as you have to keep the was warm then apply it. I like the g1000 wax like a bar of soap just rub it on and use the wires hair dryer to melt it in. -
We use one of the green recycling bags then transfer to a wicker basket next to the log burner. Cost nothing and very strong

I agree build your own. I bought a makita one (the L shape one) and it is useful. But find you have to sometimes adjust it now and again. I like the home made one better.

Check out lube shuttle pretty much same grease cartridge that screws on less mess on change over. Think thay do a battery one now as well.

At work we use the Milwaukee m18. Have the grease gun and the stubby 3/8 impact wrench with the 5amp batteries. I've got the makita stuff my self I find the grinder draind the 5 amp batteries you'll be better getting a 6amp. The makita 1002z is a big gun in your hands and has amazing nut busting torque but if you dont need all that I'd go for a 285.

It would be but the woodland behind is the hight of the roof so a lot of digging. Might put a second opening on the side. The barn door will be closed but the top will be latted as theres Longhorns cattle going in the barns.

The hole top and bottom of it is, if they want in they'll get in and couse as much damage as thay will. but you have to try your best to prevent it from happening.

Best I've seen for security was cctv with speakers to talk to them saying your been watch and police are on the way. There was someone on our local new that had made a device that gave a electric shock if tampered with not sure if it was on a vehicle or some thing on his property. Think it made it onto the radio 2 Jeremy vine show. We were broken into ones about 5year ago 6f s360c strimmer a stihl stone saw and ms290 saw 3 hl95 longreach headge strimmers its heart breaking the feeling you get when you realise. Thing is they would end up taking you to court if they hurt them selfs and they'd win..

Yep nosey things cows. Always interested in what's going on then they get to excited and start jumping and kicking that's why people think there charging and end up getting trampled down. They look like white park but short horns with the black on the inside of the ears.

We use henchman ladders cant go wrong with them. also have the platform ladders but there that big the hang over the back of a m.w.b transit pickup. Check out little giant ladders expensive but very good. -
Thanks for the reply guys. Finally had time to get some pics of shed. After laying the pallets I'm thinking of turning them the other way along one side so I can separate the stacks and keep track of the time of year it was processed. So will this be ok for storage of do you think itll need more air flow?

Could you adapt something like this we use one on the farm for taking silage out to the sheep at winter. Could Welsh some extra bars on to fit the smaller lengths on. Look out for a second had one at farm sales.

I only ever wear my buffalo when out spreading grit and out with the snow plow. When the beast from the east arrived I had it on it was perfect for that, but I like to wear a skins compression long sleeved top under it. No point in spending £££ on waterproofs they'll all end up failing. -

Pretty much sums it up. I've just bought a RAF gore-tex jacket to try out.£25 cant complain. I do like my buffalo smock but it's the early style with the thinner outer shell don't think it would hold up to woodland work think the newer styles are more RIP stop now. Clean dry clothes and socks make a world of difference. -
Hi all I'm new to the forum, I've just asked my brother if I can start to clear out the Woodlands on out farm for fire wood. So I have a small yard and a lean too shed with only one opening. The shed is concrete floor and stone walls with tin sheet roof. Sizes would be around 6-8ft wide & 20+ ft long and max hight would be 10ft sloped down to about 6ft.How much air flow would the shed need if I splt the wood and heaped it up from the back? I'm planning on using pallets around the sides and on the floor and might stand a row down the middle. The wood I'll be cutting is a mixture soft and hard just whats been windblowen or or damaged in the process. I'll try post a picture of the shed tomorrow.

There must be some way of fitting one to run from a van or vehicle. What do all them mobile tyer fitters use in there Van's I'm sure the don't start a generator when blowing the tyres up? And to run the mechanics that pop the beeds.
