  1. Nearly every job I do now involves sleepers / artificial grass & kandala Grey Indian sandstone it’s a new thing and job after job it’s the same thing Jack
  2. That’s daft ehh I’m on a few different new build sites and most of the machine ops are heavy on sniff and skunk you should smell the work vans yous think there was a grow in the back 😂 the labourers love getting on the peeve then end up seshing and don’t turn up until Tuesday maybes Wednesday Jack
  3. Its long gone now the hardest part was it was more a case of guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around me and Lowesstoft had to do a 100 different things eventually he got his money back but what a bad experience it was and thanks spud Jack
  4. That was the saw it had hardly been used it was mint condition original bar and chain from new you’d be lucky if it had 2 full tanks of fuel through it was a good saw but a big num heavy thing that I didn’t need anymore so Lowesstoft bought it but never received @spudulike Jack
  5. Me and @Lowestoft Firewood used ups and the chainsaw vanished a few months later the exact saw with matching serial numbers was sold on ebay so I’d highly recommended avoiding ups at all costs Jack
  6. Can’t say I ever seen one on my old 150 but In all fairness I can’t say I looked but them little die grinders get anywhere and if you can’t change the numbers grind them back to bare metal and if there’s no numbers there’s no proof is there I’ve had mountain bikes stolen I’ve identified the bikes gave the police the information but because the serial numbers weren’t there because they’d been removed they couldn’t / wouldn’t do anything the police are useless Jack
  7. Has no one heard of ringing up? Timberwolf have a ID tag and one serial number etched into the chassis leg the tags are taken off the 5 first digits on the id are all the same then the rest of the numbers can rather be made up or copied off another machine off the likes of Google images or the same machine for sale on the internet the etching is ground back to bare metal and painted back to the colour then you can buy the machines to do the etching off eBay for maybe £1000-£1500 sounds expensive but if you pay £300 to get a £25,000 + chipper for maybe £1500-£2500 and if you get pulled it’s rather the real McCoy or it doesn’t exist but it still isn’t stolen so they have to return it back to you then for the id plate you copy the first 5 digits are always SBXTW and then you buy a cheap stamp set off eBay and match the codes up and rivet it back on this is how easy the tags are to copy Jack
  8. Cheers case closed 🤙🏻 Jack
  9. If the reg on that trailer is the cab stars reg on its second MOT in 2008 it got clocked from 63,126 down to 29,230 someone has shaved 34,000 miles off normally people do it before it’s first mot Jack
  10. @Joe d I spoke to joe in November 2019 and he was willing to give me work once I got my tickets but I got onto machines instead so just thought I’d put his name to you and hopefully it’ll be some help Jack

  12. Landscaping is good money saying that even that is going to shit now the price of materials is crippling the industry same as lack of them aswell Jack
  13. I’ve just been watching one then it does look awkward but I’d rather spend £6k and be no good than spend £13,000 and come to the same conclusion I’ll order this and if any good comes of it I’ll eventually look into the wp36 because that’s the one this start up is just a learning curve Jack
  14. That’s far too much just for a idea but for you as a established contractor it’s worth every penny I’ve found a dominator v12 in going to ring today and see when there due back in and order one of all goes well and the idea works out I’ll look into a better one but for starting up this one will do cheers for your help Jack
  15. Thanks for the info it’s appreciated I’ve just been looking through a old thread and seen woodworks has a wp36 like you said are the best what’s the difference in price between the wp36 & the Japa rough cost is ideal and are 2nd hand processors common or are they like rocking horse teeth see plenty of PTO ones but it needs to be self powered Jack
  16. It’s just a daft idea I’ve had but want to have a go and see if I can make it work just as a sideline to my landscaping & groundwork’s I’ve also just bought a Timberwolf tw230 for man with chipper hire just trying different things that do this works out great if not I’m thinking about buying a mini skip lorry and going down that route I just want to expand and make more money what sort of day rate would you expect with a little processor like the Japa? Jack
  17. Hi all I have been looking at road towable firewood processors and looked into the Japa 305BE but don’t really want to pay £13,500 for a daft idea what might turn into a waste of time so is there any other machines something similar to this one and also if i was to buy one and hired it out with operator what sort of pricing should I be looking at and also don you charge by the hour / cord / day ect? Thanks Jack
  18. It’s gone now spud @Lowestoft Firewood is the new owner Jack
  19. I’ve just sold a 572xpg for £500 but that was battered tbh I thought this saw would make good money
  20. At present it’s supposed to be sold for £900 just waiting for payment and courier arranged so see what happens got another 2 people offering £700 & £815 not short on interest
  21. It’s a 2016 with a 28” bar and chain it is like brand new it’s a brilliant saw plenty of power but I’ll never use it again so time to find a new owner
  22. In all fairness most of my work is fencing and landscaping I only do the odd tree job most jobs I use my 261 with a 18” bar and that does it this was a one off job
