  1. Yes we can allow the crazy irish in the Gang ?
  2. Anyone without celtic blood. You would not understand Mick really unless you new the feeling that comes with it. Fought off 4000 zulus see lol. This is exactly what i mean right to the point, fiction or not (passion)
  3. Why ??? what if the purchase cost most of someones savings then. No magic wand involved
  4. These guys just do not have the celtic blood in them which is a shame ?
  5. Lack of space does restrict you i get that. Was going to suggest making up a loading platform where the logs could have been loaded onto. Platform could have been knocked up using the timber your cutting and raised to the height level with the sawmill bed. Pull up the mill and roll the logs on rather than winch them on. Cut down 2 hours a day on production and easier on the body. Just trying to help buddy ?
  6. Matter of fact, You guys with such negativity to the understanding of the culture that has kept these languages going for generations and will continue to thrive. Wales is a devolved country with its own elected self ruling assembly (spending powers) Scotland has the same and just under half of its country craves for total self rule (ask your selves why) Proof in the pudding the old saying goes aye Big J Patagonian Welsh Description Patagonian Welsh is a variety of Welsh language spoken in Y Wladfa, the Welsh settlement in Patagonia, Argentina, specifically in the province of Chubut. The numbers used in Modern Welsh originated in Patagonia in the 1870s, and were subsequently adopted in Wales in the 1940s.
  7. With a grapple on ??
  8. One tough cookie. Remind me of me ?
  9. Its the celtic blood that runs deep which keeps welsh people the way we are i suppose. Tradition- passion-and the steep history going back centuries. On the BBC radio local app the lo nan Gaidheal station still has a big following. I had never come across it until a few months ago. Its operated on the outer shetland islands and speaks a dialect unlike i have ever heard. (gaelic)
  10. You are very wrong Big J. There are many people in wales who do not speak english believe it or not. Mostly now the older generation who have never had access to the world wide web.
  11. Check your messages
  12. My 3 phase wadkin band saw will do 15 inch depth cut but i would not fancy cutting logs all day on it
  13. I was not referring to you getting a handler or folk lift but looking at improving your current setup at little or no cost. How are the logs being moved to your premises. Your trailer or a wagon delivery ??
  14. Can get a bespoke custom made trailer for around 2k ?? Bespoke ?
  15. Massive difference but can one justify the cost.Forget a tele handler as cost to much. I have a back hoe and made 2 grapple attachments which is fantastic bit of kit.Pick that log up in your photo on tick over. I would be looking at a couple of options. Do you have some room about the place ??
  16. Can you be more selective with your logs rather than have so many big ones ??
  17. What is your budget tom ?? May know for one but its the big boy version
  18. You will be looking at 15k for a decent woodmizer setup
  19. Do you mean a table/bench saw ??
  20. Managed to get one and delivered on friday. Not a full time cutter like most of you guys so will mill up a dozen oaks i have on the deck in the middle of know where. Some great reviews and will post on how it operates Farmertec G388 Blue Thunder Chainsaw, Compatible With Stihl 038 Bars
  21. Nice you went for a rescue one and to a good home
  22. Its a very good deal consider the climate we are in
  23. So what would the monthly payment be as it is now ??
  24. Without being rude can i ask what you borrowed and payback terms eggs (roughly)
