Were they sure?!!! Looks inward to me! [emoji6][emoji16] Hope you recover fully soon! Don’t go over doing it and create harm! [emoji106][emoji106]
  4. Going off your last post, if your cutting pallets and dont want to bend over as much, hence your reason for a longer bar then put the pallet on a table, problem solved! 🤠 I’ll get my coat….. I’m off to put my 46” bar on my Ms180!
  5. Nice slab Steve! And if it wasnt dry before it will be soon enough above that radiator! [emoji6]
  6. Regards your power outages at times, could you not put a 12v pump in-line to run off a deep cycle battery for when your in the shit? You say your not running the stove for more than 4hrs or so on a night, you could have some leisure batteries on standby for if the inevitable happens and would do your needs no problems for a few days easy. Just put a diverter loop in your pipe work with some on/off valves to divert from your every day 240v pump to 12v pump when required. Very simple. And presumably you’d have a generator for such occasions for a few tools/kettle etc when your desperate [emoji6] genny would run ya pumps 240v or 12v if you were mega desperate.
  7. Fire with a back boiler on a zone pump is a good shout i rekon, and that would also allow you to go with a lesser kw branded stove (as mentioned 8kw verses a chinese 11kw) for optimum efficiency but with enough heat generated that you won’t be cooking like a chicken on a spit sat in close proximity to it either, and the added bonus also that with it being an 8kw (if thats your preference) it wont need fuelling as often as an 11kw so reducing your wood usage too, win win!
  8. Yeah love it! Very car like, comfortable, easy driving. Had to do injector seats other month as it started chuffing on me. Got all 4 injectors out in a couple of hours, wire wheeled all bodies of em back to nice and clean, same with cylinder head, wire brush in drill then into holes, put some fresh copper seating washers on, new dust seals for in top of head, some magic paste from work to smear on injector bodies to stop em seizing in, job done! Does 50+ mpg according to dash on a run. I’m only 2 miles from work so its barely getting warm most days, but always get a run at weekends trailing about, oil prob gets dropped every 2k miles, had a new egr when i got it so should be good for a few years for me.
  9. I run a 1.3 90bhp Fiat Doblo now, ex council, bought it cos it was mega straight, only had 34k on clock and is a 10 reg, other reasons for buying were also that its on a timing chain not a belt, was fully ply lined, cabin area is practically as new, and is very basic regards mechanical repairs. I looked at loads of 1.6hdi models but they were all high mileage and strong money, and that 1.6 engine is very problematic regards turbo and dpf issues if not maintained to the hilt. I just dropped lucky finding mine when i did, right place right time and right money. It carries weight really well too, you load it up and it never really sits down at rear.
  10. The older models were related to weight carrying, no difference in body size, these days you’ll notice L1, L2 etc, that means difference in physical body size but of course when body increase so does carrying capacity. Whats your budget?
  11. That berlingo is a 600L model, i’d be looking for the 800L model for more load capacity and the obvious staying legal where weight is concerned. Had a few partners/berlingos, best one i had was a 97 P reg, 1.8 straight diesel, went anywhere practically, and if it failed going forward it defo made it going backwards! Had a set of bridgestone snow tyres on it, our climate doesnt wreck tyres like it can in other countries, so ran em all year round on it. Bought it with 112k on clock and sold it with 174k on clock for £200 less than i paid for it, hardly spent a bean on it apart from the tyres, exhaust and brakes, odd wheel bearing on front and a pair of springs and strut top mounts. Excellent on fuel too, practically no difference whether driving it sensibly or hard.

  13. Playing with tiddlers no doubt! [emoji6]
  14. Soak your hand in hot salt water and afterwards dry thoroughly and put some kind of drawing creme on, arnica or something similar, odd squeeze now and then to tempt it out.
  15. Said it before Sam, doesnt stop you looking in and posting [emoji6] all the best! [emoji319]
