  1. Same to you too [emoji106]
  2. Agree with some of that Vesp, but even when educated your still going to get the “thrill seekers” as someone called em earlier, or the mentally unstable that will try it. Once taken, then that opens the door to the downward spiral, its the trigger for taking em in the first place thats the cause, ‘the villain’. The answer? Dont think there is one. Even if there were no drugs to take, people would do something else no doubt, self harm etc but thats another whole debate!!!
  3. Err... well Vesp appears to have gone to ground but....... ha! I got the chainsaw bug but am still only a mere tinkerer, i’m up to 3 of my own personal saws now with 6 to sell on, but other projects are keeping me away from them for at least 6 months now [emoji30]
  4. [emoji389][emoji389][emoji389][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  5. Take drugs to ease the other going ons in their their lives. Mental instabilities obviously contribute to the sticking heroin in their bodies and the likes cos they think it eases their pains. There two sides / outlooks in eveyones lives, call it a set of scales mick, occasionally we ALL slip to the wrong side..... all be it a ‘bad day’ for you and me, but for those in need.... could be more mentally life changing slip the wrong way. i.e injecting etc
  6. Sorry Chessa, didn’t see the piece you’d written that ‘karma mick’ has just pulled you up on [emoji849] i kinda mimicked what you’d already said ?
  7. https://www.whalleyhydro.co.uk/ Very similar looking.
  8. They built one in next village to us (whalley) same sort of thing, community input etc but same as you, not sure on the returns.
  9. You read too much Chessa [emoji15] i couldnt take it all in, i’d get all my words in a mucking fuddle ?. Not to argue against anyones hardships or misfortunes, as i’ve been lucky in life as of yet. I’m not sure in this case it could be just specifically blamed on poverty? Timon did explain that the girl had a child that stayed with her mother (childs grandmother) and he had witnessed her coming to the scene and approaching her, begging her to come back home for xmas etc, that would suggest that financially she could have been supported? Do you think she could have been ill (mentally) causing her to end up doing what she did on the streets?
  10. Waterwheels lasted decades! Surely with our modern thinking caps on we could devise something very similar but on a smaller scale with a good efficiency and low maintenance cost?! You go for your set up Paul, sounds trick [emoji106]
  11. Have asked myself that question a good few times when i’ve been out and about with the dog or in car in some remote places. Hydro would produce steady uninterrupted power all year round. My assumption is that the doo gooders dont want watercourses harmed or damaged etc from their installs and running. Could be wrong in my assumptions of course [emoji6] They used to divert water courses to run mill wheels? Why not do the same in smaller versions ?‍♂️
  12. I could prob of worded it a bit better with regards to my use of the expression ‘karma’ in my first quote but i dont think it would of made any difference really. Hey ho.
  13. Your not real then either Rough Hewn [emoji849]
  14. His life ended so it took the scenario away Mick ?‍♂️ IF people had spoken up sooner then maybe ‘karma’ (figure of speech) might have been different how it was delivered to him ?‍♂️
  15. Put her in the ditch of what used to be hedge and cover over..... Job done! Families eh, nowt but hassle sometimes. Smile sweetly Spandit, karma always comes round.
  16. Surely aesthetics are going to play a big part for you too? Your going to want to like what you see. You defo wont find a certified branded stove of 5kw for your budget though. That only leaves you cheap chinese copies or secondhand purchases, personally i would hold out a little longer and save a few extra quid, get brand new and buy something branded thats got good reviews and feedback. You’ll be upwards of £800 though i would of thought. Your choice in the end though.
  17. The child is the biggest victim, the villan is the childs mother firstly with the dealer a close second. IMO
  18. Read my posts furthur on Will, i agree from both sides, and was raised on a farm so again see both sides.
  19. Ground source Stere or air source? Or both?
  20. Hope no one miss reads my comments and gets mixed up with the omega 3 as being a childhood computer..... the amiga! [emoji38]
  21. Nowt wrong with a bit of fish anyhow [emoji6]....... rich in omega 3 and full natural oils.
  22. ?[emoji4][emoji51]
  23. How efficient is air source as opposed to ground sourced? I’m assuming ground sourced will be a better option with a greater return.... but obviously it’ll be more expensive to install in the beginning? as thats generally the rule with things in life, better return = more upfront, as opposed to little return = less upfront? ?‍♂️
  24. A bigger oil way to me personally doesnt necessarily mean better oiling, it would suggest to me that there is then a bigger void to fill which will take increased effort and increased time to accomplish, so in theory could give more time for the bar and chain to be running with insufficient oil to create friction with heat wear. ?‍♂️ just my thoughts.
  25. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] hell Chessa, i miss read your initial words as “sturgeon”!!! I’m thinking..... what the chuff has fish got got to do with it???!!! ??‍♂️ then the penny dropped ?[emoji4] whoops! [emoji23]
