  1. Would you then sort by hand or put in to some sort of separating machine to get logs / twigs separated? (Total novice here looking in ?)
  2. Fuck me i’m ill!!!! I’m handing out sensible info to vesp [emoji33] whats going on!
  3. Chill out ya roman goof! Your quick to create and manipulate threads and others into an argument!!! We’re just yanking ya chain!!! If your going on a trail mission of that length your gona need a power source to keep ya recorder going, that could potentially be weighty needing multiple items if your tenting. I’d go with a head mounted gopro or the similar with some offering mega battery life, and it keeps your hands free. B&B is your answer at 15 - 20 mile ish intervals, thats plenty mileage in a day to keep ya just under the threshold of burning yaself out, thats if your doing a full venture of lakes in one hit. I’ve done quite a lot of the wainwrights, but was a good 10yrs since. Very enjoyable with right weather, f’kin shite and depressing if it decides to turn on ya!
  4. Is Uube one of ya new secret “spy proof” sites Vesp? [emoji6]
  5. [emoji848] hhmmmm.... i do remember him spouting about a neighbouring young girl being on her knees before him! You’ve made that common knowledge now Vesp via your phone/computer, hope your listening out for those loud sirens..... the rozzers are coming for you!!! [emoji1345]‍♂️[emoji600]

    Jokes???

A Group of guys, all turning 40, discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the waitresses had big breasts and wore mini-skirts. Ten years later, at age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the waitresses were attractive. The food and service was good and the beer selection was excellent. Ten years later, at age 60, the friends again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because there was plenty of parking, they could dine in peace and quiet with no loud music, and it was good value for money. Ten years later, at age 70, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and had a toilet for the disabled. Ten years later, at age 80, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because they had never been there before.

    Jokes???

A British doctor says: "In Britain, medicine is so advanced that we cut off a man's liver, put it in another man, and in 6 weeks, he is looking for a job." The German doctor says: "That's nothing, in Germany we took part of a brain, put it in another man, and in 4 weeks he is looking for a job." The Russian doctor says: "Gentlemen, we took half a heart from a man, put it in another's chest, and in 2 weeks he is looking for a job." The American doctor laughs: "You are all behind us. A few months ago, we took a man with no brain, no heart, and no liver and made him President. Now, the whole country is looking for a job!"
  11. My bag!!! ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️ just read bill’s post and re-read your earlier post! Thought you were using 36” bar for some reason! ? ignore the oiling issues [emoji23]
  12. My oil tank needs filling when i refuel on my 026, theres about 1/4 of oil left if that, but i’m only pulling a 16 inch bar, your pulling twice+ the length so your gona need a good amount of oil for that size of bar / chain. I’ve never milled myself (but would like to in the future) so i’m no expert Westy, just looking at it in a mechanical sense. I’m sure RoughHewn / possibly Wonky mentioned in another post about a uprated oiler kit for saws associated with milling? I think like billpierce said earlier you may cure it with a brand new chain with no previous wear / stresses.
  13. Doubtful, if you were having it contract that much then you would of had to of had some serious heat build up in the first place to which your chain would of obliterated already during use. I personally do think you have a part issue with heat though contributing to your failures.
  14. Approx 70% of your life is spent at work, you need to be happy in what your doing or you’ll be miserable! So if it suits and your happy...... then crack on i say! Cheers for divulging [emoji106]
  15. I’d still find/have plenty to do, not one for being sat about, but i wont be tied down to working for anyone full time by then i’m hoping. We want to see more of the world, so jump on a few boats and planes here and there in between and see whats out there. How long you been modding outdoor equipment for?
  16. I’m hoping to throw it in at 52! [emoji6] we’ll see nearer time though. How old are you spud? (Me being a nosey sod and all![emoji39])
  17. I shagged a chain up just before xmas on a 021 running with a knackered sprocket and the oil pump was weak on it too. Those straps look very similar in the way they have worn, so it just makes me think that a slight shortage of oil may be a contributing factor on the chain failures, heat mainly being the starting point of weakness setting in.
  18. Some of those links on their underside look quite worn to nearly burred on your vid, wearing close to your rivets, you defo getting enough oil?
  19. Its what you make of it like anything in life. If your suited, dedicated and love to do house bashing and renovating, that when finished gives you a rental house (or a few in the future, portfolio as they say) and you can make the figures stack up in your favour.... then thats earning a crust, go for it! Regards tenants etc, you can do the vetting before hand, all the decisions can be yours. If you get a bad one and it costs ya.... then hey ho, suck it up, you made a bad choice. But that will influence your decision for next time, we all learn from our mistakes. Go for it, only here once!
