  2. So long as u have a good sharp router bit on the right speed setting.
  3. This one I drew on by hand then free handed with the router. This sign is for a charity project were I work. I done the design on the computer printed it to scale then using carpet spray adhesive I stuck it onto the wood and followed the outlines. There is a ton of how to vids on YouTube with different ideas but I found printing it the best. Just belt sand the paper off once finished.

  8. I never forget an encounter with an old gardener when I first started out at 18. I was in a similar situation were by the customer wanted it cutting hard back so being niev I obliged only for next doors gardener to give me a mouthful about kids just hacking away not realising the damage they are doing... in hindsight he was absolutely correct
  9. Very well said ! You mentioned u was in the military? I have been a reservists for 10 years and I'm a PTI training phase one recruits on basic training. And far too many of them turn up concerned about weight the BMI scale is partly to blame for this I'm 6'2" 15.5stone and according to the BMI scale I'm over weight and should try to loose weight I can easily run a sub 9min 1.5miler. The above advice from shtilmadaserver is the best you can take be more concerned about feeling good and feeling healthy weight is just a number !!

  12. Some regiments did the Artilary in particular seem to use the daf and pinsKaur (probably spelt wrong) i belive its to do with the hight of the towing hitch of the guns they tow being to low for the newer trucks. But the Bedfor was still in service 10 years ago when I joined. The vehicle they use now is the 6,9 &12t man sv pretty good price of kit l.
  13. Thanks Gary I'll go back Monday
  14. I wear one of these for brambles. They are called Ubac and there British Army issue the arms are padded. (the torso isnt) there designed to fit under body armour. I know some people turn there nose up to the use of army surplus but I think it's perfect for brambles.
  15. So did I. He seemed to be in a position where his knowledge should be second to none if he is maintaining saws for a lot of professionals. Hence the reason I never questioned him.
  16. Can someone clarify this for me? The guy in the shop I use to maintain my saws thinks that the Husqvarna 135 doesn't have a fuel filter ?? Mine is missing one and asked him to stick one on he said they don't have one. Seems a little odd to me ??
  17. Some questionable techniques being used here. Especially at around the 5:14 mark that made a little bit of wee come out when I watched.
  18. The old Bedford tum/tul would go anywhere I used to drive them when I first joined the army. They was replaced with MAN trucks. But I'd have a Bedford off road any day of the week.
