  1. On a lighter note. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji12][emoji106]
  2. Mill it. Then just walk out. [emoji106]
  3. Seen pigeons making nests in amongst those plastic spikes.
  4. I'm still at the escort van stage. [emoji3]
  5. I hope it's not out too soon or the missus is going to kill me. [emoji12]
  6. I don't climb yet, but cutting and dragging hawthorn or blackthorn is a nightmare. After a few days of such a friend saw my forearms and asked if I was self harming? [emoji106]
  7. A friends dad in France imported the biggest John Deere skidder I've ever seen from the USA. Cost him €100,000 second hand. Reckoned he saved €50k by not buying locally. And that's all legit with taxes and shipping. [emoji51]
  8. Saul 07376803384 [emoji106]
  9. I use the phrase, " have you got full ppe, license and insurance?". Then they give you a head cocked stare. "Sorry mate no ppe and no insurance, no work". Always worked for me. [emoji106]
  10. Are they eating into the heart wood or just the sapwood? Might be some sort of pin worm?
  11. As wonky says above. He's done a few saws for me. [emoji106]
  12. The ms500i should be out soon. Might be worth waiting?
  13. I don't the brand names but the type that senses electronics is way easier to use than the laser version.
  14. Mine often sits unused for a few weeks, starts no problem every time. Runs on aspen so don't empty it to store. Only had it a year, but cross cutting and milling, it goes like a train.
  15. The 661 rocks my world. If you've ever used a 051,056,066 or 660 the 661 beats them all. Cuts 1 second slower on a 24" log compared to a ported 660 with 100cc big bore.
  16. Move the tree, Into a chipper. [emoji3][emoji106]
  17. Big plastic owl or heron. Get one with batteries to make the head move. Or fireworks regularly. [emoji106]
  18. They are on the courses. In real life, useless. I go through a pair or two of gloves every week. Using cheap stihl rubbery jobs. Great grip even in the wet. Most chainsaw protection gloves are rated at "0" Meaning it will protect you if the saw is slowing down and you catch yourself. Again in real life it's complete bollocks. A running saw will cut straight through a chainsaw glove. So to pass your test get yourself some £30 gloves. Then once passed get some cheap grippy gloves. Otherwise I'd be spending £30-£60 a week on gloves that don't work.
  19. The phone number is wrong mate, comes up with a Spanish message saying this number doesn't exist.
  20. As above, Get yourself a depth gauge device. Take your machine to a decent dealer get them to make sure you've the right size. Sharpening a chainsaw is easy, sharpening a chainsaw well is an art form. Also make sure you use the correct size file. [emoji106]
  21. There's a great video on YouTube about exploding containers, caused by fuel venting. [emoji106]
  22. I'm loving this. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  23. I was introduced to Dave Allen by my best mate. A devout church going catholic. [emoji106]
