  1. Nobody is shying away from the concerns you have raised what people are saying is all crime is equally bad in context, ie a paedophile is a paedophile irrelevant of colour, race, religion etc. I have said multiple times matey boy raises some good points, some I agree with but the way he goes about it is extreme. In his eyes im an extreme racist!! He continually spins a thread to suit his narrative whilst avoiding questions and has a penchant for spouting shit (not all the time mind) without doing his homework to back himself up. Then he’ll go missing, wait for someone else to do some digging for him and jump straight back on the bandwagon. Whats also a shame with him is 90 ish percent of his contributions to AT are on the same rhetoric.
  2. Your always very quick to slander people with the racism card, I myself was labelled an extreme racist by your good self. Are you you going to the arb show this year? I’d like to meet you in person to see if you think the same of me in person after a few beers and a chat. You do have some good comments occasionally but spoil yourself regularly. I have had a few chats/debates with @Mark J both publically and privately and whilst we have different thought outputs on some topics I definitely don’t think he is a racist, I’m sure he’d say the same of me. The common denominator to us being called racists ...........
  3. He got himself a TV and hasn’t posted much since, who’d have thought ......
  4. Don’t sell yourself short, your doing a great job matey boy!
  5. I was only kidding! To be fair once you have built a reputation running your own gig is the way forward.
  6. That’s a very deep and thoughtful post, I agree with you entirely
  7. Certainly is and the proof will be in the pudding. I think the works will commence come what may.
  8. I get that but it’s not going to stop or change what’s happening it’s adding to the cost and hurting people in the process. Injuries and arrests! Really is it worth that when the outcome of the tree will stay the same. Choosing your battles comes to mind.
  9. Hope your ok.
  10. That was my train of thought, you missed climbing yet steve?
  11. +1
  12. Agree with everything from paragraph 2 down. Will the the work stop or continue in Sheffield in your opinion? Its easy for the guy to come on here and paint a bad picture but the very fact that they are rallying around promoting protests is leading to people getting hurt and arrested not the work being done. So so he’s happy to take the moral high ground but not take responsibility for arrests/injuries??? Hmmmm
  13. Why?
  14. They are going to achieve what they please regardless! The policy may be a sham but you ain’t going to stop it. In FACT your making it worse, your adding to the cost!!!! The fact you can’t see that it will happen anyhow tells me all I need to know about intelligence.
  15. Ever thought of stopping the protests and stepping aside?! Its quite clear the work will happen come what may sooooo who’s at fault for all of the extra costs you describe? You! Move aside no police needed, no guards and lads will get the job done quicker. Irrelevant of what explanation you give, irrelevant of what letters you send and to who the work continues, it’s going to happen come what may why not learn to accept that in this none perfect world and save yourself some time, effort and energy.
  16. https://www.kingsfund.org.uk/projects/health-and-social-care-bill/mythbusters/nhs-managers Thats from a quick 5 minute search I’m due I could find more sources if I could be bothered. Wrightington Wigan and Leigh Foundation Trust has less than 4%. Its a common misconception. As @eggsarascal has previously said swap over for badly.
  17. Yes mate that would annoy the shit out of me but given I don’t have to see your kit daily donations will not be forthcoming
  18. Can’t believe your positioner was left out of the shot!
  19. The ones banging on about the cap are normally at the top of their band, like I said like for like workers aren’t on great money but hours, pension, sick pay etc make it an ok package. If a band has 7 yearly increments one could also look at it as for 6 years your underpaid given that they have budgeted for the top of every band per specific band to job.
  20. Rope guide for me.
  21. There isn’t A problem there are many. Most if not all public bodies/services/companies have a yearly budget April to April, let’s say £100 for easy reckoning of in March they have spent £80 they will go out and spend the remaining £20 as if they don’t next years budget from the gov will be £80 so we have wasted £20. They should get the same budget regardless and be allowed to save the £20 for reinvestment or extra staff etc. Councils repairing potholes in march comes to mind, perhaps if they had a 5 year budget in line with a gov term they could relay roads and save money on repairs in years 4 and 5.
  22. But there isn’t it’s a misconception 4% of managers in the 5th largest employer in the world is hardly over managed.
  23. It’s a common misconception, the percentage of managers to workers is rather small, it’s around 4%. One could argue not enough. Its a misconception because there are a lot of administrative staff.
  24. No it needs a change in budget rules and better managing.
  25. I started a reply on the iPad then the little one needed his bottle so I’ll finish it later, on the phone now, but on this point I give you banks, failed consistently yet paid stupendous bonuses ie mr diamond of Barclays if memory serves.
