  1. I assume you're including the Spanish and Portuguese here? I could be wrong but I think they impacted far more people than the Brits did in this regard?
  2. But just as the fast majority of the German people today should not bear any guilt to the Nazi Germany period, nor should feel any guilt to the fact that vast majority of their grand parents or great grandparents where Nazis we should not feel any collective guilt for what the British Empire did for a select few rich men nominally in London for the Government or the EIC.
  3. Correct, just seems like the Brits get the blame for everything that goes on around the whole world and everyone seems to forget the rest of Europe where playing the same game. And we where just as down trodden by the British Empire here in Scotland as a lot of other countries. Even the average English person hardly benefited did they?
  4. Correct, but we responded to the disease in the correct way and we changed our habits in light of what they could cause. If the Chinese could do the same the world would be that much better for it.
  5. As did the French, Germans, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese, even the Belgians. Each of these nations had the same aspirations, we where just better at it.
  6. That sounds awfully like you're trying to say Ive got a huge Cock. Im flattered.
  7. Till the itching stops.
  8. I think he just back from the clinic?
  9. I think its both the people and the government. The People, at least a portion of them, and the government for allowing them to live like that. Yes the government rules them with an Iron Fist, but does that have to make what appears to be a sizable portion of the population so completely lacking in compassion for life? Be it animals or human? There are other poor countries in the world yet the do not seem to be anywhere near as cruel.
  10. No, its not a road to nowhere. As you say this virus is calling the shots the world over. We need to eliminate the root cause of this. The economy is on its knees and we need to put measures in place to stop it happening again. The Chinese government would very much welcome your ideals of not making this a blame game but until they get their house in order they should very much shoulder the blame for this.
  11. My my my, your attitude sure changes when your turn to be put under the spotlight.
  12. No, its a result of the way the Chinese live.
  13. Its day 9 for me and Im starting to develop a dry cough and a tight feeling in my chest. Im guessing within a week we're not gonna have any tests available?
  14. Whilst the derogatory yet reactionary use of language for an entire nation is wrong surely you can see measures against the country need put in place til the country as a whole seriously improves things from within? Sanctions should really be put in place but thats never gonna happen for a number of reasons. So the only thing we can do as individuals is stop buying their products. But it will be a token gesture, nothing more.
  15. If our other halves can put up with it now and again so can we.
  16. Correct not one person can say what is to happen. That included the UK suddenly becoming the #1 Economy in the world. There is absolutely nothing other than your own desire to back that claim up. We only have to go by how much of a mess the UK had made this crisis, and how we as a people respond to direction to see thats never gonna happen. Where will we get all the raw material from? But yeh, taxation will change, globally. Yet the SE are up in arms because they are gonna be asked to help a wee bit more too, yet they are the same people that claim the NHS needs more funding. The way things are going we're gonna be dropping a rank or two, if we're lucky.
  17. That is simply never, ever gonna happen. We are an island with less than 70 million people. We'd have to go back to colonial days to get any better than #5. That in its self is impressive.
  18. Yeh, enough of the racism. Please stop it.
  19. The only sure way is to pull the battery, which coincidentally Apple will not let you do. So you're left with the option of removing each and every app from your device, yet still letting your phone manufacturer 'see' what you're doing and using incognito mode on your browser or better yet using a Tor browser. Or just accepting it.
