  1. The main thing you need to be to cash it in is be Norwegian, get a Norwegian Contract and work in Norway. There is a demand for certain roles that there is not enough Norwegians for so they look to Denmark and the U.K. (and further afield). In Norway you really need University Education or your apprenticeship in the off-shore industry to get a foot in the door. From the likes of the U.K. they’ll let that go if you have 10 or more years in your field. Most rotations are 2 on 4 off now. As I’m a Rig-Gypsy I’m 4 weeks available then 4 weeks off. Over the last ten years I’ve averaged 95 days a year.
  2. I’m with you on your “Moonbat” understanding. I quite agree. I fully understand that with every knob-jocky protest that goes against the will of the common man the “powers that be” will use this against us. It’s infuriating in its simplicity. I was down in Brazil helping deliver Norwegian “renewable” tech to the locals. Was asked to go down this week actually. You’d be surprised at how much of my job these days is in renewables or carbon capture. It’s money for old rope and I can tell you, it’s where the money is. God Damn it’s where the money is $$$$. So please understand that my POV is not solely from where my living comes from. Look into “Northen Lights” it’s the same tools we run in an oil producing well that gets run in a carbon capture well. Im doing the same job regardless. Regarding your last paragraph, I wholeheartedly agree. And it’s why I stated what I did in my reply. We’re losing our freedom inch by inch and that lands purely at the feet of those selfish enough to sacrifice the greater good for their minority hobby
  3. Thanks Mark, appreciate you taking the time to post that. Ive downloaded it, does it work well?
  4. We as a nation seem to allow, or have no option but to allow reets like BLM & Just stop Oil from giving the government the ability and also the will of the people to bring in laws like this. If you support the rights of idiots to block roads and prevent people from not only going about their daily business but stop the sick and pregnant from getting to much needed appointments then you're also to blame for whats going on. Ive personally allowed myself to be conditioned into accepting these new laws in full knowledge that in the long term it will be detrimental to us all if it means these new wave "protesters" are put back in their box.
  5. It was not so much what I wrote but the last naughty word. You are very funny starting new threads with every mundane occurrence in your life. You should start a blog, or a diary. And as regards your PM about getting my jaw swung at. Honestly Eggs, it’s laughable. 🤣 I look forward to the next instalment of Eggy-sharing.
  6. You’re right Eggs. Apologies.
  7. Certainly looks like you're correct. The Trunk is near identical. I had an 18-20" DBH come down in the garden but it seems like a slimmer tree survived Storm Arwen. Since I have so much Cherry a passing glance at it and I assume it was as well until I seen the nuts forming today.
  8. Evening all, Anyone know what kind of tree this branch is from? The Trunk is almost Cherry-like but quite fissured.
  9. That’s a fair comment. Never thought of that angle. But if we’re going down that road then the Op best just give up now. It seems like he’s looking for categorical proof the tree is his once it crosses the boundary so it enables him to cut it down. He’s not looking to appease him by the looks of things, just get the best advice on what he’s allowed to do. The experts have said crack on.
  10. But the stem clearly crosses the fence line/boundary at some point. How close he cuts it back to the fence depends on his adventurous he is. 😁 He is entirely within his rights to cut back to his boundary, so to save squabbling over a few inches cut it clean off at a distance clearly within his property. Then at a later date trim back to the fence line. This particular case will never ever go any further than a pissed off neighbour.
  11. If he proves ownership/boundary and cuts it down the neighbour is gonna be pissed. If he is confident he has ownership but can’t prove ownership/boundary easily and cuts it down the neighbours gonna be pissed. The neighbour’s gonna be pissed regardless so just cut it down to what he believes is his property and leave it with the pissed neighbour to prove otherwise if he can be bothered. What is the worst legal repercussion he’s going to face? Whatever happens the neighbour’s gonna be posed so just crack on.
  12. Just get on with cutting it down. 🤷🏻‍♂️You’ve had your answer at least 10 times over now 🤣
  13. Im cutting back on what I earn to avoid excessive taxation. I’m a literal pauper right now. 😁 But your right, I should just get another tractor and a processor. That would free up the loader to hump logs around.
  14. No PTO, hence why I said “no PTO” 😁
  15. Nothing at the rear. It has an open return at that loader controls though. I’ll look into the “power beyond plate”, cheers. I wonder if something like this would work? Group 2, Aluminium Hydraulic PTO Gearbox and Pump Assembly, 10cc, 16 L/Min, 9.78 kW Output | Agricultural PTO Pump Assemblies | On Sale WWW.FLOWFITONLINE.COM Group 2, Aluminium Hydraulic PTO Gearbox and Pump Assembly, 10cc, 16 L/Min, 9.78 kW Output from our range of Agricultural...
  16. Leave the retards who buy new builds alone! If they realised how retarded they are they’d compete with the likes of myself for stone build properties.
  17. The firm that felled and extracted a lovely parcel of Oak for someone in kind of know totally took their pants down. If it was not for a mate who owns the surrounding Estate he’s have been decimated. When confronted they did a fly bolt. About 20t of mill grade oak was left. I milled most of it for them.
  18. Im looking into getting a log processor again. I’ve just bought an old Massey Ferguson 50B and since it does not have a PTO I was wondering it a processor could be driven off of the 3rd service?
  19. Sounds like a porno intro?
  20. The headline literally says that pig fat will hurt the planet.... "What now if you're a vegan ?"- I guess not be happy with this idea?
  21. Been an interesting week in my wee milling world. Delivered the “garden furniture” £1400 in the hipper. Two light lights days milling on a traditional Deeside Estate. Knocked off at 14:00 today. Another £1200 in the back pocket. A young Joiner wanted some oak and Ceder this evening. Another £900 in the pooch. Time to get a bigger mill. 😳
  22. I love that cabin! Did you do it yourself?
  23. Careful when you talk about edging these days. 😬😳 But no, it’s a mill, just a mini one. If you wanna meet folk into edging this might not get the thread google thought you were.
