  1. Actually, it could not have been a more humane way to die. Instantaneous and most likely without warning. And lets not pretend they where not down there taking holiday snaps of an actual grave of people who did in fact die in a horrific way and was a nightmare for those involved and still a sore point for the surviving family members who have to watch as this and potentially other companies turn the grave into a Disney attraction for Billionaires for cold hard cash. So please understand when I ask you to take your faux indignance and shove it where the sun dont shine.
  2. Who regulates international waters though?
  3. They can’t take money down with them.
  4. You seem to have smoked something very potent. Care to share with the class?
  5. This is well and truly Dave’s domain. As far as I’m aware saturation diving means the divers are out in the water breathing a mix of gases that allow them to dive deep (relative), but they’re in the actual water and not in a pressurised hull. When these Divers come back to surface they have to do so at a controlled assent to allow the deep diving gas mix to dissipate from their blood stream or they get the Bends, which is the bubbles of gas (nitrogen? Helium? I dunno?) in their blood expanding rapidly and rupturing everything to feck. I think they come up in the Bell to a certain safe depth and wait to allow the gasses to dissipate they continue upwards. I assume the decompression chamber is for the deepest of Dives? Again, Dave will fill us in. Dave will no doubt remember the Decompression Chamber incident on the Norwegian Continental Shelf that was opened accidentally on Surface. 😳 Google it and you’ll get the report with all the pictures, it’s not pretty. Since the folk in the Sub have gone down in a pressurised vessel they’ll be (I assume) breathing regular air and can they ascend at a fair clip and not need a Decompression Chamber. I can’t imagine these guys wanting to spend a further two weeks rubbing shoulders with each other in another tin can after they’ve took their holiday snaps.
  6. No super valuable £2 coins? Meh!
  7. If you got more than £4 you'd be doing well Id say. More hassle than its worth the list and post. Imagine doing all that for two quid then paying fee's on it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325493914429?hash=item4bc8f2fb3d:g:A5IAAOSwXgJjvTkd&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4I9vqG%2BXIafuG6pp6UFf6x2UfL8WKU%2Bw5fPs%2BYbxrmkdOk0h8ulWiCcfOsfmZYCCjAFje3W08TqB1EvG989DjNRu6%2FPWtfTcxFHdINieCcm2PBx2GkSXvpZibWUaZaLBa%2FEFAA8cZqgqVnSZOCsAUr8ueQqCJyCChg7rmJx9uFaubKvoQmKxyxatWTBBszHd4%2F7sAbTAW3d3r6ad9lLvZCa42tln7PZWFq24GbeQi%2FRNnejjMw%2FaI%2BUnLD9SxOmdRKcGwmpH7Klfw%2FBEmGUyVe4rTc1gVlsN%2BBftknyXojTD|tkp%3ABk9SR7DJ_-GbYg
  8. I read this morning that a spotter aircraft with a listening device has hear 30 minute interval knocking noises. Could well be them. Searchers for Titanic Tourist Sub Heard 'Banging' From Area, Internal Comms Reveal | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK A Canadian Aircraft, part of the enormous search mission looking for the missing Titanic tourists, heard 'banging' at 30-minute intervals in the area the submarine disappeared.
  9. Im often amazed at the skills these guys have watching them getting pulled around in the currents when Im on sub-sea jobs and we're needing them to open and close valves. Its very much like watching a sci-fi movie, till a fat Ling comes into view.
  10. Just tell them you'll happily collect and not charge them for your time when they change their minds.
  11. I thought you meant Celebrity Jihad. 🤣
  12. Good question. I just catch the highlights on Celebrity Jihad.
  13. If you're using chrome download Postlight Reader. It removes the nonsense from more articles and most of the paywalls. Or better yet use this website; https://12ft.io Cosy copy/pasta the link into there.
  14. Record inflation, crippling energy costs, wage increases under the rate of inflation so essentially a wage cut, taxation thresholds not increasing but wages rising (below the inflation rate) and now mortgage rates heading to 6% to cap it all off. It's going to be one hell of a shitshow.
  15. The main thing you need to be to cash it in is be Norwegian, get a Norwegian Contract and work in Norway. There is a demand for certain roles that there is not enough Norwegians for so they look to Denmark and the U.K. (and further afield). In Norway you really need University Education or your apprenticeship in the off-shore industry to get a foot in the door. From the likes of the U.K. they’ll let that go if you have 10 or more years in your field. Most rotations are 2 on 4 off now. As I’m a Rig-Gypsy I’m 4 weeks available then 4 weeks off. Over the last ten years I’ve averaged 95 days a year.
  16. I’m with you on your “Moonbat” understanding. I quite agree. I fully understand that with every knob-jocky protest that goes against the will of the common man the “powers that be” will use this against us. It’s infuriating in its simplicity. I was down in Brazil helping deliver Norwegian “renewable” tech to the locals. Was asked to go down this week actually. You’d be surprised at how much of my job these days is in renewables or carbon capture. It’s money for old rope and I can tell you, it’s where the money is. God Damn it’s where the money is $$$$. So please understand that my POV is not solely from where my living comes from. Look into “Northen Lights” it’s the same tools we run in an oil producing well that gets run in a carbon capture well. Im doing the same job regardless. Regarding your last paragraph, I wholeheartedly agree. And it’s why I stated what I did in my reply. We’re losing our freedom inch by inch and that lands purely at the feet of those selfish enough to sacrifice the greater good for their minority hobby
  17. Thanks Mark, appreciate you taking the time to post that. Ive downloaded it, does it work well?
  18. We as a nation seem to allow, or have no option but to allow reets like BLM & Just stop Oil from giving the government the ability and also the will of the people to bring in laws like this. If you support the rights of idiots to block roads and prevent people from not only going about their daily business but stop the sick and pregnant from getting to much needed appointments then you're also to blame for whats going on. Ive personally allowed myself to be conditioned into accepting these new laws in full knowledge that in the long term it will be detrimental to us all if it means these new wave "protesters" are put back in their box.
  19. It was not so much what I wrote but the last naughty word. You are very funny starting new threads with every mundane occurrence in your life. You should start a blog, or a diary. And as regards your PM about getting my jaw swung at. Honestly Eggs, it’s laughable. 🤣 I look forward to the next instalment of Eggy-sharing.
  20. You’re right Eggs. Apologies.
