  1. The instilling of discipline, giving disillusioned youths stuck in a cycle of sink council estates, Country Lines and other gangs life skills and showing them a life they could not previously comprehend whilst showing them other parts of the country and potentially the world is just what our sick youths in society desperately need. It works in Norway and I believe it would significantly more so in the U.K.
  2. In Norway yes. In Norway where I have personal observations of young lads leaving their apprenticeships for their two year service and coming back more mature and responsible adults. But having lived in Norway my empirical views of the youths there is significantly better than in the U.K. I put this heavily down to the discipline, focus, and skills they learn during their two years of conscription. Having spoken with a number of colleagues who have been conscripted they tend to only have positive things to say. May I ask the background of how you personally formed your view point?
  3. Interestingly though is the huge popularity of Asian, particularly South Korean movies and series such as Alice in Wonderland, Train to Busan and Squid games to name a few. Not to mention Japanese Manga and Anime. I’d say very few care about the colour of people’s skin if the storytelling is good.
  4. Norway still has conscription and in my opinion none of what you write here is true. From personal observation I’d say it has very positive results.
  5. Or voting multiple times.....
  6. Thats such a lame excuse. That the left are so poor and cant afford the most basic of photo ID is just utter nonsense and you know it. It could be argued that those under the age of 45 are significantly more likely to vote Labour and this is also the group Id argue that has grown up in a world where photo ID is a daily life necessity. The list of what is accepted as photo ID is quite comprehensive with many being cheap or even free to apply for. To top that off if you're somehow that poor to not be able to apply for one of the plethora of accepted Photo ID's in the list you can apply for a free Voter ID Document. There really is not a single valid reason not to show ID when voting. Accepted forms of photo ID WWW.ELECTORALCOMMISSION.ORG.UK Learn about the different types of photo ID that will be accepted at elections that require photo ID
  7. Why does the left hate the idea of voter ID? What possible reasoning could there be to not enforce it?
  8. Being smart does not mean you can’t act weird. Even you know that Eggs.
  9. Well no wonder when you make weird random comments and when questioned on them you give vague replies.
  10. Ever consider not talking in riddles?
  11. Ok, I see. And is your second comment again playing Devils Advocate?
  12. So since children are subject to law, ie from birth up to eighteen you believe that that that should have a right from birth to vote on laws they are subject to, or there to protect them?
  13. Bitches (Ive found) in general bring more interest. Generally when we've sold pups its the Bitches that go first. This time the Dog went early (first or second). We've one bitch heading for Singapore.
  14. Thankfully only one dog. All the same price.
  15. We just sold 5 KC registered Samoyed puppies for £2500 each. They sell themselves to be honest.
  16. Are children not subject to laws?
  17. Ah, this is where we’re getting confused. 🤣 We’re calling the same thing different names. What I’m referring to as a log grab is what you’re calling a clamp that goes with the forks. (Which is called a log grab in the listing you posted 😁) Ill have a look at the link for the “log grab” you just posted. thanks again.
  18. That pallet fork log grab is exact what I’d look to get. I assume it does not come with the forks? What does a hydraulic clamp look like? What does this Kelfri log grab look like? A whole new world opened to me now. 🤣
  19. Can you think of a Western Country that’s not basically a two party system? The workshy in the U.K. have far to much rights. I know that will ruffle the feathers of a few bleeding hearts on here but in my opinion it’s true. The tail is very much wagging the dog and crippling both main parties into pandering to their votes. No job, no vote. In jail? No vote. Under 21? They don’t even know what gender they are these days, so not in a position to comprehend which party to vote for so no vote.
  20. Euro hitch is how I’m planing on going forward. Would open up using the equipment on the Estate as well. Another reason I like the Log grab is when I’m bouncing around with 4.8-6m long logs. I’ve done it without the grab and it’s a nightmare.
  21. I’ll be getting forks asap. The Tines are just what it comes with. I’ll add a grab regardless, I personally find them invaluable for positioning and re-positioning. For example, one of the oak logs I loaded was 28”x32”. I can’t run the mill past a 32” log but can with a 28”, so I picked it up and grabbed it so the 32” was top to bottom. Saved me having to manually turn a log close to 2t with my Cant hook one less time.
  22. It will look interesting I guess? 🤷‍♂️🤣 Its cost him enough as well. But I feel like I’ve still undersold myself. Basically 400x400 in 2600mm, 2200mm & 1600mm. I threw the 400x400x400 cube in for free. He wants the ends square and a bullnose profile on the edges, ie top and sides. Delivered 30 miles. All for £1800. I did end up with a lovely selection of 1” boards for myself plus two 1.25 cubic meter vented bags of thick Oak Scabs for firewood. He though we could hand all the beams into position though. 🙄So waiting to see what solution he comes up this week whilst I’m off-shore. I like the Massey, the Estate I keep the mill on now used to have them over the years and really likes them. Has a 3rd service I’ll use for a log grab. I believe it lifts 2 ton, so will cover almost everything I need. It has a 1 ton weight on the back.
  23. Done a bit of Oak myself lately. 400x400mm beams for a customer who wants garden furniture. Maxed out the mill getting the logs on and realised I really needed to pull my finger out in getting a loader. So have purchased this old Massey. Not got it yet, it’s getting a look over and service at the Dealership. Used a mates 661 to trim down the logs and to also square the ends. What a lovely saw that is!
  24. What was the size of that oak log if it was too big for your mill? 😳 That must have been a killer if a day. I hope you charged accordingly! What’s his plans for the beams? It’s cracking looking oak.
