  1. Maxed out the Mill with a big Birch. Surprisingly there was no rot at all. The mill worked harder with it than Oak. Some cracking colours too. Pics really don’t do it justice. Looks insipid and half rotten.
  2. I’ve easily got 20 chains hanging up. It’s amazing how handy it is coming back to that certain chain you forgot you had. 🤣
  3. Les is not know for his astuteness thats for sure. He's not known for his carpentry either come to think about it.
  4. wow, you must be the first person to ever think this.........🙄
  5. You dont strike me as someone who has many in theirs so it must be quite the event for you....
  6. Yet here we are. 🙄 You responding to my posts that where in no way directed at yourself.🙄 You do realise what an utter simpleton you portray yourself as, right? If it’s a ruse then well played, but it would be one you’ve played since day one. Stick to what you know best Les. And that’s not raising children or Carpentry by that sounds of things…..
  7. Les, you’re not intelligent enough to fish. You know that, we know that. Posting pics is peak intelligence for you and you wonder why no one finds them funny. 🙄
  8. If your carpentry ability is as bad as your reading ability it’s little wonder you only post pictures of you sanding planks…
  9. That’s no help. That’s 99% of us on here. 😁
  10. I’d certainly not like to take that job on either. 😳 Im in the middle of milling 6” beams for a cabin build. But that’s simple enough with a Bandsaw. I’ve just bought a mid-range cordless DeWalt Circular Saw. I was quite impressed when it ripped through 2” oak. Cross grain though. I do like my big Makita. 😁
  11. A Lucas or Peterson Mill is a Circular Saw. Obviously a Swing Blade but a Circular Saw none the less. I can cut 6” with my Makita Circular Saw. If I had 6” Slabs I could easily cut Beams. Milling enough wood to build a house with an Alaskan is certainly not an inviting prospect but certainly possible depending on what you hope to achieve. Perhaps he’s just looking to build a frame with it and not the fixings? Greenhearts the main issue here and most likely the reason he’s here. I don’t know why you’re being such a knob about it?
  12. Well I’m with you on that one. 😁 You might think Im all for regulations and rules but for the most part I find them stifling and a hindrance. But without them we’d end up like the countries I mentioned earlier. Based on your ideals is there a country in the world you feel upholds them? If so which is it?
  13. Honestly, you can keep your hippy nonsense.
  14. My bad. The council. Same same but different, but still the same. They’re not moving him on for living there legally are they?
  15. Yes really. Otherwise why would the police remove him? Was he living there legally or not? Simple question.
  16. Man living illegally gets dealt with by the police appropriately. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. The Slums in India are farked. The Favelas in Brazil are fecked. 90% of Africa is farked. In fact any place where there is no regulation in place is farked. Would you say Scandinavia is farked? They have more stringent laws and regulations in place than us and it’s a beautiful clean place. Unless you go to the areas where the immigrants congregate and that’s fecked, just like where they come from. Wise up, eh?
  18. Can you build right to the fence line in England? I’m sure that in Scotland you have to build 1m back.
  19. It’s about as native as Welshmen preferring women over sheep. 🤣🤣🤣
  20. Especially if you’re paying 🤣
  21. Not really. But then so much of our laws seem insignificant when viewed with such a limited perspective. Planning permission for example, is putting up a 6’ fence at the front of my property such a crime? When you look at the disgusting mess other travels leave in their wake and the crime that seems to follow them perhaps in the grand scheme of things it’s just as well it’s as regulated as it is, which is not very much.
