A powerful rated for that depth Work Class ROV is probably the only option if it’s on the bottom. Disadvantage with a mobile system is it needs mobilising to a suitable vessel, that includes welding all sea fastenenings etc Still regardless of that it would be good to see them on the way to site rather than just waiting.

I can’t imagine the magnetic signature of that thing is big neither especially compared to what’s lying around already down there so that certainly won’t help in locating it. As you say all people can do now is hope for the best.

I think Skandi Vinland was on long term charter over there already, east coast of Canada is there Oil and Gas patch as I’m sure Andy will verify, so hopefully yeah they can be on site within the estimated time left for the LSS onboard. Either her or deep energy are hopefully kitted out with right set up to help. My gut feeling is the odds are stacked against them but there’s always hope I guess.

You are correct Mark the NSRS set up is not rated for anywhere near that depth and even if it was the submersible in question does not have a compatible trunking for the rescue sub to mate to. Only option I see is top class WROV and a deep water capable crane, Deep Energy and Skandi Vinland are in passage id say for that very reason , if you look at any of the number of ship tracking apps you can see that in real time. Combined crane and work class ROV ops at that depth are not uncommon, the skill levels on some of these ROV pilots in particular in the use of the manipulators is awesome. More than capable of hooking up a crane to a load at that depth or even tying a sling around something.

When Starmer and the likes are spouting utter BS about us becoming a global green energy superpower the reality of it is more like the two pics. Made in China paid for by UK consumers.

Tory aides invited to 'Jingle and Mingle' Covid party WWW.BBC.CO.UK The BBC sees an invitation to 30 people, asking them to a Christmas party in 2020 when Covid... 🤷♂️🤔well I guess they were not overly worried or maybe knew the reality of the situation a bit better than they were letting on.

Average two-year fixed mortgage rises above 6% as Sunak rules out extra help for households APPLE.NEWS The average rate for a two-year year fixed rate mortgage deal has edged above 6% for the first time... No help is fine but let’s stick to the same rules next time the banks or any other financial institution or Mickey Mouse Indian steel boss needs a bail out.

That’s the TE125 cleaned up a tad, changed all fluids and replaced the battery and plug. Turned her over in gear a few times minus the plug etc and gave it a once over but in reality with 332 miles it’s not needing much at all and fired up as sweet as can be ( if it were me I’d be swapping the tyres mind) . I’ve no intentions to keep this so if anyone wants a learner legal top quality 125 then feel free to PM me.

I wouldn’t disagree with much of that other than the covid/small fry comparison. What is amazing is literally a few clicks on google will give a rough picture of where we are yet people seem to be oblivious to it or live under the illusion that the state will keep sorting them out. Us being in Debt suits many of the worlds biggest financial organisations just fine and dandy.

The mortgage bomb about to explode under middle-class Britain APPLE.NEWS From trophy life to unaffordable nightmare: how the mortgage-holder's dream collapsed Whilst the case in hand is a tad on the extreme side I do wonder if the 6% will indeed be the disaster they say. The BOE seems to be a bit of a failed one trick pony on this, the actions they take seem to benefit only the banks etc and for me the interest rate rises are akin to a good old medieval bleeding, bring out the leeches as a treatment to cure all issues.

Nice 👍used to have the Old Super Tenere 750 back in the early 90s, great distance tool. I’m nearly 6,6” and could do a whole day on it quite comfortably that’s more than can be said for the GPZ mentioned. Took the Newcastle to Gothenburg (when we had a Scandinavian ferry service) then Gothenburg to Stockholm and a ferry again to Turku and onwards to Pori in summer91 on a GPZ1000RX spent the whole summer there until I ran out of coin, had a proper blast, no kids back then and not long out the army, just a total do what I want summer 👍. Always wanted to do it again but go up around the top of the Gulf of Bothnia 🤔

2011 Husqvarna 125TE 4 Stroke, came across this with only 320 miles on it since 2011. Parked up after a scare. It’s a Yamaha engine but all the rest is from that era of Husqvarna ie very high end wheels brakes etc etc. Internet pic but it I’ll put up a few more once I give it a clean up and drop the oil/fluids etc, although to tell the truth apart from dust it’s like it came out of the showroom. What’s the bike types thoughts on value ??

No satisfaction at all in being right about any of that Mark I can assure you. He most likely wasn’t thought we had some proper good bbq, music and drinks sessions with a rake of people present during lockdown. Funnily enough we all survived. I see he’s gotten a tidy little number to see him by eh Mark 🤔seems to be the way of things. Sorry I forgot you called it 100% on every occasion over the last few years, I remember well your wise words of protest at the folly we witnessed. 🤔

Is it ?? Is that somewhere where I’m happy to support myself if possible rather than rely on the state ?? My world is largely based upon common sense and pragmatism. I find it quite laughable that those of us who remember the previous Labour administration now see people whom seem to think getting rid of tories and replacing them with Starmers crew is gonna be an answer to every single issue.
-
Peaceful protest is allowed, I protested several times during covid no problem at all. Fossil fuel “ Barons” who are they ?? You do know the tax rates applied to the UKCS don’t you ?? I agree in regards insulation but believe you should if you can afford it pay for it yourself. I do recall the cavity wall phase causing a lot of hassle long term to the old colliery houses back in the day. School meals ?? Why should they be free ?? ( there is actually no such thing as free in this case, someone has to pick up the cost somewhere) I’m happy to pay for my kids to eat !! Why shouldn’t I if I can afford it. If people can’t then yes free school meals have a place. my views on nationalisation of essential industries have been put on here numerous times. Stature and global reputation I think you delude yourself on that one and the honesty and integrity you seem to think will appear overnight with a change of government. As for bankruptcy yep the last few years insanity definitely will be a financial burden for many years to come but hey who didn’t like a bit of free money eh 42

Probably not eggs in reality, in person a genuinely decent helpful bloke 🤷♂️I take people as I find them. The internet and these type of forums in particular brings out the worst in us, we all without exception often speak pure and utter shit.
-
I’m genuinely curious, can you put up a few of these ideas you think are the right ones. We’ve had two green bought and paid for ministers in Scotland and to be honest they have been ridiculously incompetent. I’d say any government new or existing has what is basically an impossible task to make the numbers balance out after the last few years.

What part of my contempt for the politicians who ran the show during covid do you struggle to comprehend?? the original post was about Sturgeon or did you miss that. You vociferously supported every failed, costly, damaging and misguided measure during covid, you and you alone have to live with how wrong you were 🤷♂️ from that there is zero hiding, try as you may to be smug and a smart arse about this , the facts and your utterly ridiculous written arguments on the covid thread don’t lie. Walk on by 42 rather than trying desperately to point out how you and you alone get the point.
-
You could always as I said to 42 ignore it and walk on by eh 🤷♂️rather than taking the time to reply. Super super easy, try it, I do it loads if I find something tiresome.
-
Whats embarrassing is how when you look back at the relentless too and fro arguments of the covid vaccine thread is how utterly mistaken you have proven to be in just about every way, including the catastrophic damage done to so much of our society that was absolutely predictable. If I had made a big as fool of myself as you did 42 over the past couple of years, tried to defend what you did and got it so so wrong I’d be keeping my head down not putting up piss poor crap like this and alluding to people supposedly missing the point, If you don’t like it ignore it eh, walk on by “easy”

I’m not barking mark at anyone, I wish Boris had gone with his initial instinct and adopted more of a Swedish way of approaching things but the clamour for action was utterly deafening( media driven too) as for going with the rules, you are an educated man are you not, if dumb arses like myself and a few others on here can work out it’s bollocks then so could most others surely. My contempt for the political types who led us during that farcical period is absolute mark, but I am not blinded by political allegiance, i remember those who wanted more restrictions etc etc. I liken the current mentality to that period to that of people looking to blame someone for behaving like a tool on a sat night, we’ve all been there bud, woke up thinking why the hell did I do that. Then conveniently blaming the guy whose idea it was to hit the town that night. Boris gave all those who wanted everything we witnessed exactly what they clamoured for. As for management of a shit storm Mark the vast majority of first world countries ****************ed up the response to covid massively. Have you read the John Hopkins study ?? .
