  1. The wind and solar power myth has finally been exposed WWW.TELEGRAPH.CO.UK The necessary miracle doesn't exist Am interesting article, admittedly not from today 😞
  2. Cracking day out in Deeside for a customer milling various bits of Oak( primarily 200x200 beams ) , one log was too big for mill, had to be broken down into 200mm slabs with the Alaskan then trimmed to fit. I just do not miss that 880 banging away right next to me 😞
  3. I’m surprised you even replied 42 seeing as that article wasn’t hot off the press that day 🤔.
  4. Dear oh dear it really must be that time of month again 😞🤷‍♂️
  5. Two activists who shut down Dartford Bridge for 17 hours in eco-protest jailed for more than five years APPLE.NEWS Two Just Stop Oil protesters who scaled the Dartford Crossing bridge and caused traffic chaos have... I would have loved to have seen the look on that pairs faces when the judge handed those sentences down.
  6. COVID no longer a global health emergency, World Health Organization says APPLE.NEWS World Health Organization (WHO) officials have said COVID is no longer a global health emergency... It changed the world alright 🤷‍♂️😞for all the wrong reasons. Pure, unadulterated insanity.
  7. Very true but I do think the manner in which the French got rid of their Monarchy might have something to do with how it’s captured people’s imagination over the years. Not quite sure if it would be anywhere near as dramatic if it ever occurs here. Probably a weak willed arrangement somewhat like the Queen's tax deal a few years back, the same one that avoided Chuck paying inheritance tax recently.
  8. It would seem so “Absolutely”
  9. But sadly incorrect. was there even a point to be had from it in the first place ?? the original post is nothing but the opinion of an obviously anti monarchist type of individual or organisation with some crap stats thrown in to jazz it up a bit. Nothing more nothing less.
  10. No I’m not. Really, what is the relevance of the amount of those obesity take aways v food banks.
  11. Fascists ??? 14.4 million in poverty !!!!. As for the number of McDonald’s v food banks 🤷‍♂️is that the gauge of a decent society nowadays. I’d be happier if there was zero of those places dispensing the overpriced obesity promo crap they do.
  12. Moment furious driver 'runs over foot' of Just Stop Oil protester as group causes more London traffic chaos APPLE.NEWS This is the moment a motorist appears to plough into a Just Stop Oil protester before driving off as... Whilst it wasn’t nowhere near a “ plough into moment” at least it’s a start.
  13. Nope you’ve got me confused with Dempsey, I’d imagine he’d be mightily offended at even the hint of the loss of his status as number one Moonbat finder. Them Moonbats and Lizards are his thing not mine. Yeah that rational and unblinkered that he actually regrets his involvement in the development of such technology. Genie and bottle 🤔
  14. Keir Starmer says Labour will abandon vow to scrap university tuition fees APPLE.NEWS The Labour leader said the party was preparing to 'move on' from its commitment to free tuition, which... A man of conviction and honour is old Starmer Sue Gray inquiry: Cabinet secretary ‘got cold feet’ over report APPLE.NEWS The cabinet secretary forced ministers to weaken a highly critical statement on the... Be interesting to see how this pans out.
  15. ‘Godfather of AI’ quits Google and gives warning about the future of technology APPLE.NEWS Geoffrey Hinton, known as the “godfather of AI”, has quit Google with a terrifying warning about... These Moonbat types eh 🤷‍♂️
  16. Calls for people around the world to swear allegiance to King sparks furious backlash APPLE.NEWS Religious leaders sparked outrage saying those watching the coronation on TV can join the... I do think the church has got this hugely wrong, for me the coronation is a non event and just another working day. Even as a former member of the household division I have zero interest in swearing any allegiance to an individual based upon nothing but an accident of birth at this point in my life . Charles has a task on his hands to reaffirm a valid role for the whole monarchy imo, a good start would be utterly slashing the huge number of hangers on and associated staff and hand a good few of the properties to the national trust so the general public genuinely could access them rather than the current ludicrous set up.
  17. Not heard, a friend is down there with a dive team, reckons the damage is pretty impressive, I guess a cause will come out eventually.
  18. You might have seen the article on the news a few weeks ago regarding the co founder of Microsoft’s vessel tipping over whilst In dry dock in Leith, Luckily no fatalities but definitely not a pleasant place to be when she tipped.
  19. Mercedes could face £3bn bill for emissions cheating in biggest High Court case APPLE.NEWS The German car manufacturer allegedly installed 'defeat devices' in its diesel vehicles which it denies I hope so as a decent e350 is on the shortlist as the next mrs car, a decent bit of depreciation wouldn’t go amiss, every cloud etc etc
  20. Yeah I know but all the same it’s nice of you to say so,
  21. Sudanese NHS doctor 'betrayed' after being refused entry onto evacuation flight to UK APPLE.NEWS Dr Abdulrahman Babiker cannot get back to work at his hospital as the UK refused to fly him back. As the saying goes “ dry your eyes mate” the “ I worked through covid comment 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️” it seems to be the norm to slate the government when you put yourself in any form of dodgy situation or place and need baling out.
  22. Court orders nurse strike in England to be cut short APPLE.NEWS Ruling comes after ministers asked judges to rule whether union could strike for full 48 hours. Quite a statement by the judge on this.
  23. 😞more like as has been previously mentioned it was lined up to have its throat cut in the name of a particularly cruel religion.
  24. Chancellor blames 'eye-watering sums' spent on pandemic and energy bills support for hike in public sector borrowing APPLE.NEWS The chancellor has blamed the "eye-watering sums" spent on helping people through the... Eye watering profits for many corporations he should say.
