Cheers Mark, I’ve actually had the adblu deleted and whilst in he tweaked it up a bit not massively but smoothed out what was there and the torque increase is definitely noticeable. Mpg is better and truck is far nicer to drive and tow with. Coming up to a 1000 miles since having it done and so far no issues. Time will tell but it can’t be any worse than an endless merry go round to the Ford main dealer.

Yeah decent stuff to work with, good size and price/availability up here. Can be hard on the blades mind. I’d have liked to do some of it in Larch but that was a chunk more expensive.

You are probably right in many respects, I nearly commented on your post something along the lines of “ oh to have a concrete floor and a forklift inside a shed” 130s are great little tools, I’ve been building a set up with one in static mode myself. I run ripper 37s on the 130 max which work great and a combination of those woodmizer blades and stellite tipped x cuts on the Trakmet depending on what I’m cutting. The Trakmet I have will do 1200 diameter and an 1150mm slab if everything is nice and straight. Cost wise probably mid 30s plus vat sat there in reality. Prices just seem to be climbing constantly too at min with ever increasing lead times for kit.

Spalted Beech, we tend to be inundated with beech up here and to be honest most of it ends up as firewood as this was gonna be but you could see the potential in the end grain on that log, it’s a hit and a miss but this time the boards were still nice and solid. I put the blades out to a local ish saw doctor for sharpening but have recently ordered sharpening and setting kit to be able to have a go myself, I normally get 3 sharpenings per blade before metal fatigue sets in and they start to go pop. Blades range from£350-£500 for ten 4800mmx38mm so definitely not a throw away item. I’m not unhappy with the service I get but it’s more the inconvenience, travel and time lost that can be a chore plus I’m wanting to experiment with amount of set etc to see what performs better in different types of timber. It’s a good solid machine for sure and the hydraulics ( including the extra second log turner I fitted) are a big plus with heavy hardwood logs, the set works are millimetre accurate too ( you have to occasionally recalibrate if you bang a big log or slab down too hard) which makes life much easier.

Dalai Lama regrets asking boy to 'suck my tongue' APPLE.NEWS Footage showing the Tibetan spiritual leader's interaction with the boy had sparked outrage. WTF 😳

Couple of days contract cutting various hardwoods for some great guys who run a local woodlands trust, first day the wind was at my back, not so lucky the second day. An easy half shift on sun milling DF beams for myself to keep the woodlands shed build on track. Milled a couple of bits of old beech firewood lying around just for the sake of it. The DF which is quite dry now was proving to be hard on the blades, only getting about an hour out each of good cutting time.

Seems like Sturgeon is turning out to be a bit of a hypocrite to say the least.
-
Yeah 12hrs of questioning etc, motor home being lifted as Andy pointed out etc etc I’d say you are right, they will know plenty more than we are aware of. Don’t be surprised if she totally distances herself from him to save her own arse.

Would that be roughly the same figure he lent to the SNP Andy to help with cash flow !!!, that he’s being paid back from SNP funds, the same figure Sturgeon didn’t even know about 😂😂. I’m sure if I lent £100k and didn’t tell the mrs she’d be having something to say about it, not just it’s “ his business “ . Those of us who live up here have known for years what a bunch of chancers they are bud, I’ve yet to find a hard working, small business or indeed self employed type who has a good word for them. Maybe if I went to a few parts of Dundee or Glasgow and embraced the smell of weed wafting around and the huge numbers of illegal immigrants housed at tax payers expense ( mind you spending other people’s money seems to somehow ok to me and mrs SNP) masquerading as asylum seekers I’d find a few supporters. Fraud police probing 'missing' funds from SNP seize motorhome from Nicola Sturgeon's in-law's drive WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK EXCLUSIVE: The Mail on Sunday can reveal another morning raid has taken place... Do you think she will know or remember anything about it just sitting there 🤔

Further enquiries are being made, let’s see where this goes. It was never on the cards for him to be arrested, questioned and detained for any length of time. The fact they made that kind of call knowing full well the political ramifications would suggest they already have enough suspicion that something is not as it should be. The auditors for the SNP have just baled out too along with everyone else trying to distance themselves from what’s been going on up here for bloody ages. The incompetent fools that have been running Scotland into the ground have been found out finally,Sturgeon baled big time knowing what was coming. The Murell story has been simmering away for years up here it’s just the SNP pr machine that did a good job of keeping it under wraps. I get the same off the mrs once a month Les.

Clear to you only Dempsey, I’d say anyone else on the forum reading it got the gist of the post, I’m not shouting anyone down. I say it with the words I use you say it with the words you use, I’d use the same language face to face as I use on here like it or lump it. You’ve seen in past for example on the Ranger forum I’m more than capable of being civil to you, sadly the reality is you are genuinely like a bitch in heat whenever you get the tiniest opportunity to have a dig.

Nicola Sturgeon's husband Peter Murrell arrested as cops probe SNP finances WWW.THESCOTTISHSUN.CO.UK NICOLA Sturgeon's husband Peter Murrell has been arrested as cops probe SNP's finances.The... Well there’s a shock 😞”not”.

Dempsey you replied to a post I put up I in turn replied back ( civilly), as is the way of things, what you then did as you often do is let your personal dislike or whatever it is that makes you tick get the better of you and threw in a standard MD awkward bugger smart arse comment where you selected parts of said post rather than taking it as a whole, I think anyone reading it could easy see the final comment is a bit of a casual observation and something uttered by many nowadays. As for making my mind up I’ve not a bloody clue what you’re on about and care not a bit neither for that matter.
-
You genuinely can’t help but being a ****************ing grade one tool eh Dempsey. Two totally different points the last one being just an imo observation. You’re obviously on your period again.

We shall see, myself I think a lot of the silent votes will look upon Starmer as just another london elite socialist wannabe, BLM knee taking was a “never vote for this clown moment for me”one things for sure if the last few times have been anything to go by they will make an absolute cluster **************** of it. Mind you there’s a good few including some believers here who think everything is gonna change as soon as Labour get in 😂😂. Nothing much does in reality as far as I can tell.

‘Underwhelming’ Keir Starmer ‘sparks little enthusiasm’ in voters, pollsters warn APPLE.NEWS Labour leader is considered ‘bad’ or ‘terrible’ by more than a quarter of Britons, a YouGov poll finds Somewhat of an understatement I’d say.

Could be worse, welcome to the madhouse that is Scottish politics. Let’s not let the demographics get in the way eh 🤷♂️ IMG_2247.MOV

Nothing overly glamorous but still good to be able to utilise Douglas and free windblown spruce to knock up a shed over the little woodlands. Using it to mill as much of the timber and build over it as I go, no real plans as such just fag packet engineering and lots of staring with a coffee type of build.

Keir Starmer: Trans rights can’t override women’s rights APPLE.NEWS Sir Keir Starmer knows he has a “women problem” — or at least the perception of one. The Labour... Awesome Kier 👍👍that’s the voting public convinced now. Is this the best Labour can bring to the table 🤷♂️

Well I guess if you are gonna go on one it may as well be of our era, short shift and let it torque its way around etc. Bike in pic belongs to a mate I’ve made noises a few times to buy it but they just keep going up and up particularly the evo class eligible tools.
-
Hope you heal fast eggs, just out of curiosity what bike was it ??. There’s a lot of good senior riders out there still but you certainly don’t bounce as well as when you were young for sure. I find a modern 450 to be far more of a handful than the old open class 2 strokes but that could well be an age thing too🤔.

I’ve canned the ad blu injector replacement as I’ve no confidence that this is the issue, like yourself it’s a random fault and can often clear itself etc and I’m not prepared to finance a never ending part swap at Ford main dealer prices. Ad blu delete is the route I’m gonna take for better or worse.

Ranger goes into no engine start mode after a 500 mile countdown if you ignore it. Might try and get it deleted next.

What’s towing capacity Stubby, I tend to prefer a manual box and a decent size motor rather than loads of turbo boost etc.
