  1. ?????? if I had an emoji for verbal diarrhoea you be getting it.
  2. Boat I was on recently spent a few days moored at what looked like an old fuelling berth on Askoy??, defo looked WW2 type shuttering marks on the concrete. Seen the same in Channel Islands on old German bunkers.
  3. Loads around the coast and onshore all over Europe K. lot of money being made clearing the cable routes and actual piling/ jack up leg locations etc etc of any potential UXO hazards for wind farms. Im not an ex clearance guy but I’ve done a few approaches to confirm targets in poor viz with a hand held magnetometer and I’ll be honest it does make your arse twitch a bit. Most turned out to be scrap but 1 was a 250KG WW2 German jobbie out in Liverpool bay.
  4. Not a bandsaw but any good ??
  5. ? Cracking looking stove. Mind you no posing next to it with the old undercrackers on eh. Saying that Les seems to like a pic of a man in tights lol
  6. Sunny ☀️ Andy ?‍♂️?‍♂️ pissed down on and off all day up here bud. Gave up trying to get anything done at teatime and succumbed to a decent takeaway. How’s the fire coming along ?.
  7. I worked on the new forth crossing doing some of the subsea stuff for the main legs, Chinese steel throughout and upon UK spec NDT standards being implemented post installation a resultant pile of defects that necessitated the gouging out and rewelding of numerous defective joints. Shit government Shit management and zero vision for the future apart from next years balance sheet, share price and dividend ?
  8. Simple solution if it’s going into British waters it’s built here or at the very minimum a majority portion of it. the resultant jobs and boost to communities would be huge. My views on electricity provision have always been that it should be state owned/controlled along with all other utilities etc that are essential to the everyday well being of the population. Nationalism should not be a dirty word.
  9. This is the sort of thing I spoke of, Companies from all over the world getting in on this free for all that we will pay for.
  10. Small world K I was working over there around that time on the ponds that later became the foundations for the Sony building at potzdammer platz. Many of the evenings and subsequent mornings were a total blur.
  11. Berlin K, the former eastern side has some pretty cool U Bahn stations if you like that sort of thing.
  12. What is a joke is the amount of money being made off the back of UK consumers the PRC. People need to open their eyes to the bordering on criminal level of pure exploitation around our coast regarding wind energy and the profit and jobs this generates for overseas countries and companies, China being a huge beneficiary.
  13. Check this one Mark it’s brilliant.
  14. Lol I told you my sides are aching it’s absolutely hilarious best joke I’ve heard for ages and ages and ages and ages ?therefore I must decline the offer to accept this is above my head ? Honest mark there is nothing like relentless citizen smith style left wing political drivel masquerading as a joke to make my night ?? You got any more material other than Boris and Donald ??.
  15. Omg another trump joke My sides are aching with all this new material ?
  16. Totally agree J but the sheeple will follow the instructions to the end I’m afraid. There are some good videos of the South Dakota way of approaching this, very much in the Swedish model. Not at all like the lunacy currently being promoted by Nicola and as is looking very likely by Boris too. I can not see how people think trying the same action again will work this time when it catastrophically failed the first ?‍♂️
  17. Written as though nothing matters except the so called pandemic. The price of a pandemic ??‍♂️My god open your eyes ?
  18. ?good bit of information, think cranky has pulled the rug out from under you on this occasion Mull ?‍♂️.
  19. Try again in the morning after a good nights sleep ?
  20. Read it a third time it will sink in ??
  21. To be honest if I thought she and her colleagues brought much to the table and actually expressed a bit of positivity and ambition etc rather than heaps of negativity I might feel different but myself like most non diehard snp independence types see none of that. Not sure if that constitutes a hate campaign mind,
  22. You ask a question I gave an answer. Read back right from the beginning of all this the tone of my posts has not changed one bit. I still think exactly the same now as I did then. Hindsight has nothing to do with it, more I looked at alternative sources of info rather than MSM hysteria and the daily SNP broadcast. Truth is as Big J stated we are in a shit situation even after towing the party line for 7 months. Tell me I’m wrong when I state the restrictions have been longer lasting and tighter in Scotland?? Even when we had zero deaths and virtually zero infections for weeks on end. I don’t need to be told to get a handle on it, I think you may need to look further afield than the Scottish government for a solution to this. Difficult to accept I know but hey ho ?
