  1. Spruce initial and then green ash and oak.
  2. That must be a noted tree.
  3. That's the best yew I've seen. Ever.
  4. Does it run on "get you home" mode???
  5. Advice please. I don't own either but need to buy either for a mill. I run 10' on my chains, accurate sharpening and milling spruce. My everyday saws are a 181 and a 362.
  6. I'm too far away, could have done hornbeam and willow for you, but I'd certainly struggle with elm. I'm sure someone will be able to sort you out though.
  7. I was just out looking at similar on a beech tonight. Definately squirrel I would say. The one I saw has deer fencing, so it wasn't a deer.
  8. It can be a mare but it can also work out well. I just did one one my wife's tractor, I found a loader fitted to the same on eBay, the sellers was happy to let me have the loader, brackets and spools for a very fair price, 1/2 day to fit and there you go.
  9. I like the pro look but I bet people who don't know their trees think it's a dope leaf. Best of luck for next year!
  10. I have a yew tree, dead standing, the main trunk is about a foot wide and about 4 foot tall then it splits to two limbs. Any good for a turner or just Xmas firewood? I haven't got a clue about turning wood. I've left it upright for a couple of years now but I'm clearing. Also some Holly trunks, not too thick but about 10" too. I don't won't to waste it in my stoves if it can go to someone who knows about this stuff.
  11. In my opinion, and I'm not an expert I assure you, if the hydraulics are playing up my first point of call is the filters. Clearly the metal indicates it's not the filters. I would then unhappily suggest the pump. A tractor like that should have a pump refurb kit available rather than a new pump. The location of the pump on it I don't know but I guess it ain't got a cab cos it's small so it should be easily accessible. Hope this helps.
  12. The metal should be a simple fix. I wouldn't sell it. I couldn't sell it to anyone like that.
  13. 7810 you think or know?
  14. Some asked me to post picks of the £200 mill.
  15. Depends on the machine. I wouldn't.
  16. Burn it. Even my goats won't eat it. Swingers favourite plant.
  17. £150 worth of metal and scavenged parts. Cut my first larch board. V happy. Trailer mounted.
  18. A gnarly olive tree will always look great. Think of the Med.
  19. The site is right in the middle of a 12 acre wood.
