  3. I work for my LA and id say 30-40% of our winter work is limes, epicormic, canopy lift, prunes and pollards. I cant imagine how those trees are going to look in a couple of years
  4. Cheers for the links matty. Looks like a handy device
  5. Ive seen the single rings for rigging but never the treble (safebloc). What would be the need for the 3? Sorry im bit fick sumtimz
  6. Honey brothers do the magazine, some other of the other arb suppliers stock em too. Asfor wearing jackets in tbis weather is beyond crazy...
  7. I think tcd's still posting but under a new name... Anyone guess??
  8. Theres an entire thread on the 2511 and its predecessor the 2510.Having never run one myself i really dont know but from what ive heard and read theyre great little saws. Think the threads called little echo..? Give it a search and read through it mate. Its pretty thorough so it will answer all your questions im sure
  9. Bump...incase anyone missed this
  10. I should add i run a 12 " bar on mine and it just encourages you to bury it into wood that you shouldnt. Perhaps if you advanced the timing aswell it might cope better.Remember its a small guide bar and using for takedowns will cause the chain too jam with the crud in it. Mines does this...its the only issue i have with it...my own fault so i cant bitch
  11. Yes but 12" max cause its pushin it.If you want a small ripper get an echo 2511
  12. Teufelburger have also issued a safety warning on some of there rope slaices.. https://www.facebook.com/groups/269475046595740/permalink/675325669344007/ Can be found at gustharts website for those who dont have facebook
  13. Great advice matty.I think your bang on there. It is after all a pruning saw but once its moded its difficult to go back to the 201's on the harness. The 150 is so light it doesnt even pull my treemotion down. Only fault i have with it is sometimes the chain jams up,probably due to the excess crud in the narrow bar, apart from that a great little saw.
  14. http://teufelbergerpro10.eyepinnews.com/lo2vm5PfvL1N0jCVWr
  15. Better to take out the exhaust and use a dremmel to remove the spark screen and widen it.You can get a timing advance aswell to really pep it up. Theres a guy who modifies saws on here called spud. I recommend you speak to him about it as he really is the expert on this.Send him a private message. In the meantime all.i could find was this american guy doin his 150...
  16. Lung age of 59... Not bad for a guy who's 63..
  17. https://www.facebook.com/groups/269475046595740/permalink/674063266136914/?sale_post_id=674063266136914 Greenmech chipper for sale

  19. Just seen this....hmmm,i dont think we'll ever be bff's but id talk about trees over a pint with ya...your round though, after all i am scottish and i know you like a stereotype
  20. Post it notes are my saviour...theyre everywhere...wife hates em..
  21. How conveinent for you that after my post quoting figures you suddenly come out with a figure just above the MP salary i quoted....hmmm i smell porkie pies to save face... That aside,im sure you will conceed that your teacher friend is in the minority and his salary is not a reflection of the average assistant head throughout the educational system. You seem to have forgot that some MPs will earn more than that 74 grand quoted as that is just an average..oh and expenses which can run into the tens of thousands...
  22. The average wage of an assistant head teacher in england is 42,500. The average wage of an MP in england is 74 000 plus expenses..your arguement has just fell on its arse
  23. Ok...em...i totally agree..i didnt see that coming. I have too add though there are many ways to save money and many more deserving that extra money than our alreadly well paid MP's
