  1. thanks everyone, appreciate the feed back i'll look into the wayleave, i'll measure it because i very much doubt it's 3 meters high i wouldn't even be able to get a skip lorry in the drive so it really does interfere with my normal business i won't be parking plant there, just i'll be doing a load of work to the house mate we don’t need to enter the property to do it the wires are 3 metres or more they don’t interfere with normal business at the property.
  2. i'm about to buy a house and the neighbours telephone cable comes over my property and fixers at gutter height, it's a bungalow so mega low i won't even be able to get a skip lorry in yet alone a grabber lorry or similar i've been trying to find out where i stand with this, seen somewhere that they can do it but has to be at least 3 meters high can't see how it should be my responsibility as it's not my line and it's way too low but over my property anyone point me in the right direction or anything that could help me please? thanks alot
  3. yes Big J but will that fit round the roads you lot have? yet alone a medium artic sized trailer as well
  4. yeh, also, the 200 and 300 come with the ability to tune using a adjustable, bit of black smoke later and you have a load more horses but the td5, great engine - when they work, when i had mine, i felt more like an electrician keeping it on the road than a diy mechanic
  5. lets face it, the new defender is for people who currently have to put their dogs and go out shooting in their range rover (which isn't ideal lets face it!!) and they are in need of a 'cheap' vehicle to throw the dogs in without a care oh and also to take the horse trailer across a wet bit of grass every 8 months that's LR's target market
  6. ok thanks, i probably should have said more of a sheen than total gloss, Liberon danish oil is meant to leave a sheen so i'll give that a go. thanks
  7. what oil do people recommend for the best gloss like finish please?
  8. yeh afraid they are. ain't may pickups that you can do 70 in though however, i've let a few police follow me at 70 before to see what happens and i haven't been pulled yet so!!!
  9. same mate, way over priced, under spec'd re-branded Navara
  10. and now the mercedes x class has been discontinued!!!!
  11. i have a LM125GHD 3.5 ton rated, thats what i use to move my digger ramps just slide in the back then stick sides back on and you can go collecting logs tows a dream too
  12. saw something similar and they made it with legs so u could just jack it up and drive out from underneath so then you have a pickup again a real neat idea anyone struggling to reach in the back of their truck, i just built a ply tray that fits in the back perfectly, and just can just pull it out and grab what you want, alot easier that reaching over!!

  14. defo ranger if you want a proper truck. i have a 2018 wildtrak auto. remapped to 235bhp tows vvv well, got a mate who sells trailers, they've all run rangers as say they are the best for towing. so much better value than the amarok as well, also, amarok doesn't have a low ranger box if that's something you'd need
  15. 3.5 needs to include the trailer!!
  16. i'm selling my Portek Quiksplit 7 ton splitter if of interest being kinetic it's rapid message me if of interest cheers

  21. got a question pls, i have 2 lumps of spalted beech and 1 lump of cherry i want to make a table out of them but i won't be able to make the table until a good 18 months i want to get them kiln dried nearer the time when i'm ready. so is it best just to leave them like this lifted off the ground until i'm ready to mill, kiln dry and make the table??? thanks
