  1. My groundy was stung by a European hornet, said the pain was fairly epic!
  2. Strimming and unknowing hitting a wasps nest. ’there’s a wasp’ ’there’s another one’ ’there’s 500!’
  3. Pretty sure we have it here, thanks anyway.
  4. Ok, it’s there for everyone to see now, I thinks it’s worth a watch.
  5. The only sure way is to replace the saw.
  6. That’s a shame, there’s a video where he explains how it happened. He would normally have been there to rescue him, but he was out of town.
  7. I sold my 2015 ranger last year, no rust on the chassis at all, or anywhere in fact. Has to be the salt on the roads over there.
  8. I fixed a leaky drain plug in a Greenmech hydraulic oil tank with some grey stuff that I mixed up. Worked a treat. Not going to lose a grands worth of saw over this!
  9. A chain snapped on my 560 punching a little hole in the oil tank (pictured) What is the best product to effect a repair and any tips on usage? TIA Mick
  10. There’s a thread on an American forum I’m on where a guy talks about his dads death in a tree, suffocated by his harness in a rigging mishap. His two non climbing groundies had to stand helpless and watch. I’ll get a link put up in a short while. My dad was killed in the tree | The Tree House MASTERBLASTERHOME.COM My dad was kill in April, it’s been really hard because I feel like I should have been there. I made this video, it...
  11. Only ‘real’ concert I’ve ever been to was Kylie Minogue at the O2 circa 2003 Was a birthday present to the wife from her sister, we’d just started going out together so I had to go along. Bloody awful. Apart from the women there were two sorts of blokes there, bored husbands/boyfriends and homosexual men (I’m aware in a Venn diagram there would have been some overlap) Worst bit was when they all sang Happy Birthday to her.
  12. I’m pretty sure populations of wasps are cyclical in their abundance, this year seems to be a big year for them. The desensitizing thing is (according to the specialist I spoke to about the bee allergy) is time consuming and at that time it involved a drug from America that they weren’t releasing. Get tested, get an epi-pen and display plenty of caution around the subject.
  13. The language thing is an argument I’ve heard before, but I don’t see it. Are you really going to risk your life (and that of your wife and kids) go into debt or give your life savings to gangsters to get on an inflatable to cross the channel just because you don’t want to lean French?
  14. Well perhaps, but this sort of stuff is trotted out to distrust or discredit cash as a means to get goods and services. You got your hair cut for a tenner? Good for you, the rest is HMRCs business.
  15. I’d actively avoid a supermarket that only takes cards/chèques, but not before I’d informed them why. The freedom to spend your money, where and on what you want without third parties monitoring and recording the information must not be given away.
  16. Well I was right there, in front of the goal, a frigging tap-in, but you never passed, you tried to shoot from the wing, selfish twat!
  17. Just take them to your local Stihl dealer if they’re not running right.
