  1. I think she started strong, but failed to build on the momentum. Comfortable win for DT I think.
  2. Wordle 1,228 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟩🟩🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  3. Not really, cos it’s arcing and building up that rubbish on the terminal. if it was the hydraulic motor it would come down on its own.
  4. Electrical terminal/connections on ram/hydraulic motor, get under to have a look and clean them up.
  5. Morning Jase, Just getting light here, dry week ahead, fairly straightforward work-week, then Friday bank holiday so off to the coast for the weekend.
  6. I listened to the show last week, for one reason or another I didn’t listen this week. Sad day.
  7. Sorry to hear this Stubs. Pompey the bear feels the same!
  8. Yeah, figured you’d take it personally, not intended as a dig, but no matter. Everyone of those peeps had sleepless nights, and had to stretch themselves to pay their mortgages at some point. Our generation (at least those that bought property around the turn of the century or thereabouts) benefitted from something like a 3x increase in prices, it’s like winning the lottery. If you’re looking to buy property now, as we did, all those years ago, you have a much harder time. We were lucky, nothing more, nothing less.
  9. I know a few peeps who confuse getting lucky in a rising property market with ‘doing well for themselves”
  10. Is there not a picture of the mewp in the op? Regardless of whether the bus driver should have seen the knuckle, the operator is at fault, cones, signs etc. could/would/should have been used.
  11. Wordle 1,225 4/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟨 ⬜🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  12. Buy cheap, buy twice.
  13. If a Krab doesn’t work, bit of WD40, blow it out with an airline. if it still doesn’t work, it’s retired from life support. Bit like Pauline and her pens….
  14. Yeah, with stroop waffles you need your A game.
  15. Morning Pete, Weather fine, clear starry skies this morning. We got the nasty job out of the way this week yesterday. Hedge removal, went through 3 or 4 chains with stones in and around the base. Luckily the chipper blades seemed to escape the worst. Next two days are lucrative medium tree reductions, easy stuff. Have a good day all.
  16. Lot of Dutch here. Always ask for a stroopwaffle when I work for them. Very nice with a tea or coffee.
  17. Who is going to assassinate a copper for 10k? Tightarses, that’s chump change.
  18. Great work, what did you have for breakfast if you don’t mind me asking? Ps. Dutch I reckon.
  19. Saw that, a life well lived however. RIP. I always felt that Geoff Woade from Withnail and I was written with Geoff Capes in mind.
  20. Better to kill, you only pay for a funeral rather than a lifetime of medical care at the taxpayers expense.
