  1. In which way is it better than an Ifor? I have an Ifor 10 x 5 tipper, was a little disappointing to be fair. 1 year one, starting to look scabby, and isolator key for killing the battery is goosed, and looks a mission to replace
  2. Phone Caledonian Forestry. The two companies sell Palax and Kesla so should be linked in a round about way. They might be able to help you
  3. Woodworks is correct.
  4. I used a company called Inspire Web Development Web Design | Search Engine Optimisation | Perth Scotland I found them very reasonably priced, and very flexible. David Dwyer is the man you need to speak to, he will answer all your questions. PM me if you want his mobile number
  5. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
  6. Neuson are well worth a look. I have a 75z3 and I think its brilliant. Its a 2008 model, and never missed a beat. Loads of power, came with auxiliary hydraulics as standard. Tracks pretty quick, and you would struggle to find a machine to out shove it with the blade.
  7. Hope your mate got paid on delivery
  8. Do you do a lot of firewood? What processor do you have? Out of interest
  9. I personally would use the 8 way on a 350mm stick. I only use the 12 way on 400mm plus stuff. I will take a picture tomorrow for you of the 12 way.
  10. Its a bigger version on an 8 way, with a circle in the middle to give the extra 4 pieces
  11. I have a 12 way splitter for my Pilke 1x42. Only ever got it stuck once, and it was my fault. If its a nasty looking bit pick it out and split it with the vertical later. These machines are only as good as the operator
  12. Our online sales are down significantly
  13. I have a customer who buys semi seasoned hardwood from me, and builds the logs like that to dry. They swear by them. She told me it takes approx 8 hours to build. I think they cheated as well, putting a large diameter perforated drainage pipe in the centre, as without it there's kept collapsing.
  14. 334 cube is a lot of sticks. You have been busy.
  15. He's had it three years now, and is still as bright as the day he got it. You wont be dissapointed
  16. I bought my old boy a LED Lenser X21 Xtreme Torch Its the dogs. [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/LED-Lenser-Xtreme-Torch-Black/dp/B001HAO1KM/ref=sr_1_38?ie=UTF8&qid=1420054843&sr=8-38&keywords=led+lenser+torch[/ame]
  17. A lot of importing of firewood these days aswell. I spoke to a guy in North America, he was exporting 25 containers a day (around the world) He reckoned about 5 or 6 per week were coming into the UK. Thats one guy from one country. Probably thousands of tonnes being imported on a weekly basis. We didnt have that afew years ago.
  18. Ok, now your just showing off. How long will it take the Taj to munch its way through two loads?
  19. Ash is beautiful stuff to process. Even better when its been graded. Ever so slightly jealous.
  20. Larch logs
