  1. Good for you pal, I'm not being sarky. But I am about your response about cops over reacting. How do you know what the circumstances were, it could have been a well known family of troublemakers, I don't know and neither do you. What's me with living in France got to do with it? We wouldn't get away with half the nonsense that seems to be acceptable in the U.K. and for that I'm glad. These rules aren't there to cause disruption for the sake of it. They're for a good reason.
  2. I give up, you know best, obviously. Thank Christ for reasonable people such as you who can defuse the situation when idiots like me try to support the Emergency Services. Silly, silly me. It's me who's the twat here, why didn't I see that. Thank you for putting me in my place.
  3. You don't half spout some shit at times! Seems over the top, does it? Some of the scum the coppers half to deal with wouldn't think twice about assaulting them. Why should the police put their selves at risk for selfish bastards like that? It's not the Common Cold we're talking about it's a death sentence, but no, the coppers are over reacting. Try standing in a coppers shoes, you would probably shit yourself. You really are a twat at times!
  4. She barks because she's a Jock.
  5. Goes without saying. I prefer my first statement, shoulder any blame that's going.
  6. No Andy, as I've said before, that's the reason you're on here.
  7. Eggs, at the moment I'm as twitchy as Hell. Seeing my wife loaded into the ambulance and me thinking would I ever see her again was absolutely horrendous. She seems to be fine now, in the last three days back to normal. Two days ago she started coughing and barking again. Thank God it was the pollen from our wisteria that caused it I thought the worst. If anybody thinks that I'm overreacting on this thread, maybe I am, but tough.
  8. Sorry pal, maybe so, but it's not a case of making a comment for the sake of it. I've totally lost my sense of humour on this subject.
  9. I agree. This winds me up so much. Speak to some of the lads on here who's at the sharp end, see if they think it's an over the top reaction by the police. I think not!
  10. Marcus, I assume you are being sardonic? If not, that's Bollocks and you know it. Normally burglaries won't kill you, the virus will.
  11. You say it was a family gathering and suggest that too many coppers attended. If one copper turned up, or even two and the family started performing, what then? The Police are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Lock the stupid bastards up If they flout the rules. Absolute idiots, I can't understand your reasoning even commenting about this.
  12. Actually Eggs, unless the brother lived there, he shouldn't have visited. Thems the rules.
  13. Thank you. I thought it was an outlandish Suffolk custom for Easter. You live and learn, thank you Professor Eggs.
  14. What does "Stuck the long pole into them mean"?
  15. The "Young lad" in the video was actually 65 years old. He looked quite young if you compare him with the very irate Mr Johnson.
  16. I think you've been living in the south for too long drinking a tart's drink.
  17. Please tell me that isn't cider and blackcurrant? Philistine! You need horsewhipping, dragged through the streets then horsewhipped again.
  18. Here we go! Well done Andy, it was getting boring today!
  19. You don't live in France Khriss because you were deported! Disgraceful behaviour as reported widely in the papers.
  20. French prices for parts are ridiculously expensive I need a Parker hydraulic motor for my Vermeer grinder. French price is €791. They charge for assembling the motor, seals etc. Same price two years ago when I bought the one thats knackered from Vermeer Holland. From Vermeer UK, all in assembled is the Euro equivalent of €610. £58 with Parcelforce to deliver. Blokes at Vermeer UK can't be more helpful even though I bought the machine over here. French after sales services almost non existent from the main dealer types. Local outlets are usually ok. Again though, never really a sense of urgency to get you on the road.
  21. Do the 460s have a an hour counter? I know my 450 didn't.
  22. Wisteria in bloom on the east facing house wall, then showing the lack of blossoms on the back north facing wall of the house. Always about 7 days difference in blooming. Beautiful when it's all out. Pollen is always a problem as it drops straight down onto the window ledges.
