    2014 550 xpg

I picked up my new 550 yesterday from my local dealer who did me a good price as me and Luke bought 1 each. This morning we set the auto tune and have put a tank through and we are very impressed, cutting through these beech limbs like butter. Starts first time when switched off and when left for 10 mins. I will keep posting my findings so fingers crossed it is better than my 550 was:) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. I had a bad experience with the 560 and I love my 346 so I thought I would go for the new version of the 346 which the 550 is if u know what I mean. Got it last night so today is the day. More later.... Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. I am suffering from this today, really bad, I have had it for about 12 years on and off but it's only bad when working on uneven surface like woods etc. any advice welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  10. Ha,Ha, good one. I sometimes do a bit of small stuff but I leave it to the younger guys, I use a couple of really good subbys. http://www.pmhtreesurgeons.com

  14. Dunno John? I'm gonna ask mr Bullman.
  15. I love my 346, I just can't find a decent one anywhere though so I tried a mates 550 xpg and its a belter, really like it. I can get one for £500 plus vat from my local dealer if I buy 2 as a mate wants one too.
  16. I've had this one 5 years, from new and it's just coming up 1000 hours. Before this one I had another 150 from new.
  17. Wondered when you would be along Ian:-)
  18. I was gonna say mate, this thread is 4 years old. Glad you like your chipper, I have a TW150 VTR and love it.
  19. I had a really bad experience with a 2011 560 XP and in the end I got rid and swore I wouldn't have another, however....I am going to get a 2014 550 xpg, I was using one and really fell for it.
  20. Totally! We agree on something for once Ian:-) Ha,Ha.
  21. I agree about the lower threshold Ian, it would generate more revenue for the country and would make the small business man be able to claim 20% back. Everybody wins.
  22. Really like this answer, Ha,Ha. You make it sound so easy, commercial work isn't that easy to get where I live, loosing the odd customer, well I think its more than the odd customer from the research I have been doing. In this industry a large part of turnover is wages and the subbys I use ain't vat reg. Its typical of this country to penalise the hard working honest man and spoon feed the scum. It really does not give encouragement to be honest.
  23. The flap over the zip keeps the water out. Never had a problem with mine.
  24. Ha,Ha,
  25. I've just bought another, great jacket, so good I have spoken to Yvonne about doing a groundys jacket and trousers, she's getting a proto type made up so should be good.
