  4. I have had no problems with the belt mate, and I find the teeth don't break like finger teeth and they seem to wear better, also they cut loads better. IMO:)
  5. No mate, I keep it lubed and working, I do know what you mean though as my old Carlton 900h did that. I have a brand new set of rayco super teeth for sale if you red any and 2 other sets.

    axe men

I've watched them all from the start and while I'm a fan they do make a big deal out of things, and they have never heard of health and safety Some of the things they do, my god we would get shut down in seconds. Take last nights show, Shelby bit the head of a cotton mouth snake, well we would have the RSPCA and English Nature down on us like a tonne of bricks, Gabe shutting the road with no traffic control or signs!! We would be getting a proper roasting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  10. Sorry, I have just checked my invoice and it was £394 inc vat and post. I then had to by new bearings.
  11. That was 1 of 13 stumps I had to do, 5 of them were alot bigger, that was one of the smaller ones. If I had to go and price that stump on its own and it was local and I would charge £60.
  12. It cost me £460 to convert but worth every penny, they can be changed in seconds and they cut so much better than rayco super teeth. When I got the grinder it had rayco super teeth on it, they and I didn't rate them, I even bought a brand new set and I wasn't impressed, then I put the multi tip on and was blown away at how well they cut. I have that set up stands me at 2k rather than the 9k I had tied up in my large Carlton.
  13. That's her, I will get a pic of the multi tip tomorrow.
  14. After many years of trying to find a good useable pedestrian stump grinder I think I have found my ideal set up. I have a Rayco RG 13 MKII with Multi Tip cutting system. It cuts small and medium hardwood stumps with ease and even lave stumps well but just takes longer. The Multi tip is the best I have used, previously I had green teeth on my large and mid size carltons and they are no match for Multi tip. I have found grinding on a board lets the wheels pivot better. If you have a small budget then I recommend this set up.
  15. I like cooking meth;)
  16. great looking tree, the logs you could get from that:thumbup: How long you out there for mate?
  17. Defo not alder, they would look redish inside, as alder looks when cut, as it dries it looks a bit orange. I still reckon walnut, I cut one down last year and the branches look just like them, blackish bit in middle.
  18. Looks like walnut branches.
  19. Coz he ain't daft;)
  20. I reckon we will be sorted with Rooney back.
  21. What match were you watching? I didn't see any diving?
  22. The ref is giving the French loads of favours!! Typical.
  23. I have one of these and it will be used if needed. I think old bar and a few chains will do it, I have an old 28" bar and chains I will use along with pick and mattock etc. like I said before I'm going to put a good price on it and see what happens.
  24. Get in, great header off lescot!!
  25. The problem with winching is there is nowhere to anchor to, on the low side it could be anchored but if it comes out it will drop 80ft, i will get some pics as its a horror. I took the tree down 6 months back and I get work off the client so I don't want to turn it away.
