  3. If you can afford it get one new, contact fr jones as they are good value for money.
  4. That's coz the air filter will be blocked most likely, they get soaked in Oli or fuel and dirt and don't tick over, clean it out and tighten the head. That's no reason to call it crap mate.
  5. It would be to boring over here, you would have tpo forms, risk assessments, method statements to fill out. Then they would talk about how to do the job. Bobby Goodson and the like just crack on!!
  6. It amazes me the amount of people who can climb a massive tree, do crane take downs, use huge chippers and drive big machines but can't send back a bit of paper?? Get am accountant & save money and time.
  7. Wot u been smoking? LoL..They are excellent machines. I have had 3 sets up to now but finally bought a brand new one and it is cracking. Whey do you say their crap, you need to explain please..

  10. There was an AG Rover on eBay a while back and it was stupid money, there was also in the landrover magazine and that was up for sale too.... For stupid money.
  11. Hope your right mate:)
  12. I still can't believe that Land Rover are getting rid of the Defender?? What's all the farmers going to do? Nearly all the farmers round here have defenders. They then replace it with a posing vehicle that's as much good as a chocolate fire guard. Plonkers.
  13. I Have got 16 customers to leave feedback after I have done work, I put pictures of the jobs up. It just has not brought in the work I thought it might. When I quoted for a job I got people to go on and look at my feedback so in that way its do ok but I have not had anyone ring me and say I got your number off Checkatrade.
  14. I have been with Checkatrade for a year and won't be renewing as I have not had 1 job from it.
  15. I had one and got rid as I can hire one very cheaply without the running costs. They can be useful for ripping out stumps, moving timber if u fit a log grab, tidying the chip pile. If you can pick one up for a bargin then get one.
  16. You forgot the one who will post on Arbtalk asking how to do it.
  17. Hey good to see you back Mozza!!
  18. It was invented by a guy near me, selling well apparently.
  19. Me too, I have a couple of people who like 26", very quick to process a load.
  20. I'd like to see the chip I'm dumpy bags too, have you ever tried chipping into a dumpy bag on foot forestry? Obviously not:)
  21. Spot on. The customer is always right!
  22. I had to apply for something similar and was told 7cm DBH Applies.
  23. That seem low James?
  24. Work out your costs (fuel, insurance, etc)and add some profit and that's what you should charge, but reading your profile surely you should know this??
