  1. I must admit I sold my new style 8x5 (tt2515) ifor as it wasn't quite as good as i had hoped! The older tt85 was really good in comparison. I saw a graham Edwards tipper and it looked brilliant, I emailed graham edwards and got a reply back within minutes saying they would make me a 8x5 tipper with solid sides as apposed to mesh just like I asked for. I must admit I am tempted.
  2. Thinking on I loved my old ms260 until it got nicked!
  3. Sold my 261 for a 550 as I think it's more balanced and revvier, shortly after my 441 got sacked for a 372 no comparison, it's loads quicker. (My opinion only) Fancy getting a t540 next😊
  4. I recon the duvel might have sent you to sleep too mind, strong stuff that!!!
  5. Looking for a site for to do my CS32 training, I can get a trainer but we are struggling for a site. Here is the spec of what I ideally need. If you have a site capable of accommodating the felling of up to x10 trees, with an effective diameter at felling height over 380mm (15") either conifer or broad-leaved, or both, of which some can be made to hang up in neighbouring trees, our instructor could deliver an event at your site. In north England or south Scotland would be ideal. Cheers
  6. I still have contact with the VW garage I did my apprentership in and they say all the manual gearboxes in the amaroks are causing problems, I noticed network rail are using them now also so they will get a good work out and test working for them.
  7. Any help would be massively appreciated, obviously I'll pay the going rate.
  8. Buying new gearbox from ford, not cheap but only 200 quid more than a recon! A new box is cheaper than a new truck for me so it needs doing😕
  9. I am in the middle of a job and the gearbox on my ranger finally decided to pack in, am kind of stuffed until a new box gets delivered and with the deadline getting close I was wondering if I could hire someone with their arb truck to chip into on Sunday in Warrington? I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd ask?? 😏😏
  10. You wouldn't need a tent or caravan you have made friends in every corner of the UK, the travelling arborist remember! Forst looks great😊
  11. Just wondering how long people have them for before you find them too knackered to wear, had mine about 18months wear them daily and the soles have had it now. They say they can be refurbed but I think this would be more walking boots where the upper parts stay quite intact, my airstreams are rough all over!
  12. Looking for subbie climbers or groundys for when we get busy and we need a few extra helpers. Cheers
  13. If you don't mind mate that would probably be a lot quicker than me mucking on with the computer...and breaking it! Do you want my email?
  14. I'll have to figure that one out, I am no computer expert mind!! It's a good idea though. Cheers hodge
  15. Was about to ask the same looks mega!
  16. The charger is noisier than the saw!!
  17. I know what you mean I always find myself with a new note book which I say to myself I'll keep for quotes only so I keep organised, next minute I've used it as a parking disc, drawn pictures on it and then I loose it I need something better, I started using the notes page on the iPhone then it broke and I lost them all cause they weren't backed up. There must be something!!
  18. I demo'd a husky top handle, it was great.
