  1. Yer spot on, good footage mate
  2. Good way to do it. The Mrs comes with me which can be fun! 😂
  3. Really good mate, a good use of equipment. A1 👍🏻👍🏻
  4. Nice one Paul I totally agree, we may not have everything in life but whilst we are here we might as well enjoy it! 😊
  5. Does all this stuff go dry or does it stay sticky for good? Just thinking for future maintenance. Can you do inside wheel arches and inside doors and stuff too?
  6. Ok spray it is then, is there a pump up kit you get or just use an aerosol type thing? I don't have a powerful compressor and don't want to spend loads on buying the gear.
  7. Not bothered either way if it can painted in it may be easier? Presume a good steam clean first in in order? Do you scrape off surface rust first with wire brush or similar or do you just fire it on?

    New truck

I agree with the above post, it's a great looking truck but if it's not working for you then it's time to sell, I saw a 4x4 canter tipper at merc commercial dealer in Carlisle it was massive!
  9. Just about to do the ranger as its getting a few crusty bits under it. Has anyone done it before? I can imagine it being a mucky job but any tips? Cheers
  10. As above can anyone recommend a good form for work in Stockport? Cheers
  11. Was under the pick up today and the tub is a bit tatty can't really be welded and needs replacing, was wondering if anyone has ever fitted a tipper body or drop side body to a double cab if so has anyone got pictures? Cheers
  12. Measured it up and taking into account wheel arches and slight slope on the back where the tailgate extension finishes its around 2.5 cube
  13. Yer, I think they are a great tool. Use mine loads too!
  14. Yer about 3 cube. Cheers for the tip I'll try it cheers. It takes 4 minutes to empty it with the shovel.
  15. It doesn't hold loads but for the average job it's fine, it handles the weight fine also, it's a compromise for having a 4x4 for sure but i can live with it. A good network of chip sites helps!!
  16. Yer your right they are hard to beat! Unfortunately the cost of buying one is too!!!
  17. Bet you were sick to be doing it twice!! They get well used though!!
  18. Can't remember the exact bill pound for pound but it was 300 quid more to have a new box from ford/Mazda rather than a recon from Ivor searle. So that made it slightly more than it needed to be.
  19. Just been reading some bits of the Land Rover appreciation thread, I am sharing the pain after I have just had to shell out 3k plus for a new gearbox, clutch, flywheel and other bits and bobs on my ranger!! She gets a hard life pulling trailers and carting chip about here and there. Never mind I feel slightly better to hear I am not alone on excessively high vehicle repair costs. What's the biggest bill your truck has had??
  20. It most certainly does, that would be quite a weight when full of chip!!
