  4. I like to treat my employees with respect, pay them well and look after them. They would come in to work any time if i needed a hand, and work flat out every single day with no hassle! Most of all, they have respect for my equipment and my business, it may cost a few thousand more a year but worth the peace of mind!

  7. Hi Everyone I have been given a Husqvarna 2100. Loving the saw! I am looking to replace the bar with a more modern one, Could someone advice me on which bar fits? Want to put a 36inch bar on. Would a normal Oregon bar go on? Any advice would be good!
  8. I have a 35c 11. 2.8 great truck, pulls and carrys weight well and its over loaded most days! good all round truck
  9. Mon-Friday 7.30-4.30 rarely any later. Saturday 8-4 but only work the odd Saturday. Usually fixing kit for an average 4 hours a week. 1 hour each nite office work!

  12. Hi there. Just wondering if you could advice me on how tight the nut holding the wheel hub on should be? should it just be as tight as it can with the wheel being able to still turn freely? then put the split pin in? seems pretty lose to me? Advice would be great Thanks

  15. Hi everyone I have recently bought a nkr55 tipper, great truck for carrying the weight! It needs a few things doing to it really, i am fairly sure the head gasket is going. seem to be losing about half a litre of water a day.... is there anyone on here who has had the head gasket replaced? just wondering how many hours it takes etc? Also looking to replace clutch, wondering how many hours this may take? Any advice would be great!! Thanks in advance!

  19. Hi guys. Need to change my oil on my timberwolf none turbo 190. on the Manuel it says use vg32 and on spectrum plant hp 46. Can i just use iso 32? and any ideas how much oil i need? Your opinions would be great please? Thanks

  21. When you say quoting gross price, How to i display this on my invoice? All I have to at the bottom is Gross total, Not e.g £350 + vat? sorry if i sound stupid just new to all this

  24. Thanks for the reply's guy's. I dont have a choice now being over the 79k turnover so think i will just pass 10% of the vat on to the customer and see how that goes. Any more advice to do with VAT i would like to hear. Thanks again
  25. Hi Everyone Just looking for some advice, i have just had to go VAT registered due to going over the threshold. We have a 2-3 man team and have been in business for two years now. We seem to have a good reputation. I was hoping to stay under the VAT threshold for another year till i started getting more commercial jobs in, Unfortunately 90% of my jobs are private customers who are not VAT registered so cant claim VAT Back. I am worried now as i will have to charge 20% more or take a loss of 20%. I have been doing very well lately but i know for a fact i win a lot of jobs because i don't have to charge VAT on top. Has any one been in the same situation? Did you find you didn't win as many jobs or having a good reputation meant your customers paid more? Any advice would be great, trying to figure out what is best to do. Thanks in advance
