  1. do you have the feed rollers on full speed? just wondering if they go slower the blade will drag the wood in better

  4. Hi Guys Has anyone any experience with this machine. its got the 40hp isuzu engine. I got it pretty cheap and did it up, just wondering weather to sell it. Just wondering what people thought of how they drag brash in, seems like its just dosent snap the branches very well. I wanted to keep it as a back up machine. Any opinion would be great!! Joe
  5. Hi Just wondering if you could help me please. I have just refurbished a cm202. The no stress control does not work. The red light stays red still at full revs. There is a sensor on the flywheel which light up but i cant see anything on the shaft that the sensor should be reading? I think a part is missing? Do greenmech have a some sort of diagram that i can follow to figure out why it wont work? Also is there a measurement the rollers get to when they need to be replaced as the machine does not seem to break branches and drag them in very well, or is this just because they werent so good at this? Any help would be great please Regards Joe

Hi Guys/Girls Just looking for some advice, I have a Isuzu Nkr 77, 3.1l engine I all ready have a pto pump and everything to fit the truck, I want to run a log splitter of the truck, Has anyone done this? Do you think it will be a massive drain on fuel? Stupid Idea? Any advice would be great please. Thanks Joe

  13. Lots of reply's at once. I hire my machine out to a mate of mine a fair bit, he has his own business and always works well, but recently other tree surgeons have started to ask. £120 a day, a few days soon ads up a good amount, but its my only machine so dont know!
  14. Thanks for replying Kev, I found a hire agreement online for plant, seems ok but never thought about PUWER, Must get some more info on that.
  15. Alright guys Just want to know do you hire your chipper out? I only hire mine to trusted people, but i want to set some sort of hire agreement set up. sort of thing you sign when your hire from HSS Hire etc. Does anyone have one made up allready or know where i can get one please? Any help would be great, just want to cover my ass if the machine gets damaged. Joe

  17. I Hire one of these from a friend of mine, amazing bit of kit. Surprising where you can fit them and have plenty of power! Its good how the legs go straight down.
  18. When you say stall, does that mean just tick over? or does the rollers need to be turning?

HI Mr Timberwolf I have a 190 non turbo with just over a thousand hours on, Just recently I have noticed the rollers jamming alot, Having to then reverse to clear them free. new blades and anvil recently. Is this caused by weak hydro motor? If so, If I have a engineer look at it and test pressure and flow what should that be reading? Anything else which could make the rollers feel weak? I change the hydraulic filters and breather alot. Regards Joe

  22. Hi Everyone I have recently bought a Rayco rg series 2. I have a rough idea how to sharpen the teeth, I have a normal grinder and a diamond grinder for the angle grinder. Does anyone have these teeth and can explain what shape they have to be? or even better have a photo or two? any help would be great! Thanks
  23. I did a year delivering logs without my hiab, pain in the ass, takes to long! best money I have spent, I can deliver 6 bags at a time. It comes in handy to load other stuff like small stump grinder etc. lifts a tonne in and 450 3 meters out

We do the odd planting job for regular customers (new flower beds etc) when buying the plants for the customer do you collect the plants in your spare time? do you charge for collecting them? or do you go and buy the plants in the customers time? I have been doing it in my weekends no charge Any advice guys?
