  1. Hi Guys I have a snapped chassis on my Jensen 530 sub 750. For the cost of a new chassis from Jensen I can get a Knott trailer which is rated higher as per the picture. Has any one done this or should i not bother? Jensen say they have upgraded the chassis now but I am not sure.......
  2. Thanks for you advice lads. Gives me something to think about.
  3. HI Guys Just looking for some advice. I currently buy my vehicles brand new. I am just wondering if anyone out there leases them for 3 years and gets a new one? any pro/cons? Thanks
  4. That looks a handy machine! I am on the look at for a multitell boom!
  5. How did you get on with cherry picker shopping in the end? I am in the same position as you and have been looking at the Nissan cabstar mounted ones but not much for sale at the moment
  6. I second that Bob, looks a handy machine
  7. Thats the Hydraulic level which is the same as mine. Think thats on the other side of the chipper
  8. Hi guys Just recently bought a Jenson and have no experience with them. What oil and how do I check the level on the photo attached please? Thanks
  9. Thanks for the replies. Yer I was wondering if it would be annoying having to raise the boom up first. Will have to give one ago
  10. Hi Guys Can anyone with or have used the landrover type Mewps with the telescopic boom on them explain to me about the boom swinging wider than the footprint of the machine? or are the new type better? I would like to use one on the road for pruning but thinking they will be no good if the boom sticks out with the possibility of a car hitting it... Picture attached
  11. Buy new!! best thing I did was buy new trucks. Forget the money. Looks smart and nice to drive!
  12. I have had my 12 inch drum bandit a couple months now and its a game changer! good on domestic and commercial jobs. Its built like a tank and doesn't vibrate it self to bits like my Timberwolf does. I dont think you can go wrong with it!
  13. Haha good thinking Stubby!
  14. Hi Guys Anyone fancy moving to the Isle of Man for a full time job. Mixture of climbing and Mewp work. Even if you just wanted a year away from the big bad UK. Any interest send me a private message. Its a lovely place to live and work! Thanks Joe
  15. Hi Guys Looking for a mini Skidsteer to buy, Ditchwitch or Vermeer. Anything about? Cheers
  16. Get a Shogun Pinnin. I also have a 1995 rav 4 and cant kill it!
  17. I have the Isuzu n35 150. I tow 3.5t daily on an hilly Island and there is more than enough power. Great truck just a rough ride. I have no experience of the Mitsubishi but when I had a look at them at the APF I couldn't believe how low it was with no weight in
  18. Thanks for your reply's! It seems to be more if the branch end is not straight it bends down towards the anvil and makes contact with it stopping the rollers dead. It looks like the anvil needs to be lower or the power on the rollers needs to be turned up... pretty disappointing to be fair. It is a very reliable chipper tho
  19. 390 hours i think
  20. Hi Guys/Girls I have had my TW280 now for over a year. I just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on the performance. I am having problems with branches getting stuck on the anvil and just stopping the rollers and just generally seems the rollers are week. Timberwolf keep saying they are going to do something about it but am not sure if they will. Anybody else had similar problems? Even my TW230 seems a better chipper Thanks Joe
  21. Alright guys Whos the lad whos dad was installing the Sena Bluetooth to helmets? Had a look but cant find it.... Thanks Joe
  22. I had a 100 series for a couple years. I used to tow a 3.5t trailer often. They are a beast at towing and real nice to drive. Very heavy on fuel when towing or not. Parts are very expensive. Like Conor said the suspension goes as they get older and that cost £1000 a corner to replace so most people put springs on. I would only have one if you needed to tow heavy other wise i would picker something more fuel efficient. I spent about 13k. anything much cheaper seemed to be hammered.
  23. Yer usual bull.... water must get in the cap at the top and rot the wire!
