  1. I've still got the original bar on mine different chain though and mine keeps throwing the chain, is it a common thing with the oregan bar or was it a 1 off?
  2. I was always under the understanding that a transit tipper was game for 70 do you think most of the police know this?
  3. Oh my bad yes it'll be classed as a lgv like a hilux I imaging a disco van would be classed as the same
  4. I've never had to, been driving ivecos and transits for 10 years been pulled for number plates and lights but never for going 70mph and I do a lot of motorway driving, I'll raise you 2 :001_rolleyes:
  5. But what about a merc 4x4 van?
  6. Most transits would just be a cab I imagine
  7. Could you class a transit as that though specially when they weigh the same (tipping body)
  8. I agree with what you're saying but it's being quite vague would this applie to a landrover discovery 3 van which weighs 2.7 tonnes the same as an unladen transit
  9. Yes but I think you're forgetting you can get 5.5 T vans which essentially means you need to adhere to 7.5t rules it says nothing about 3.5t vehicles
  10. I'm also struggling with the fact that I see bt transits limited to 70 mph our transits are limited to 70mph I work for aney a massive company they strive for saftey if it was 60 the 3.5 ton transits would be limited to 60 but we're limited to 70
  11. Prove it and I'll stand corrected but saying 'wrong' isn't proving anything
  12. An average speed camera route applies to all vehicles anything under 3.5 ton can do 70 on motorways/duel carriageways and 60 on national speed limits, please correct me with facts because I'm actually finding this crazy
  13. I'd pay attention when you go to another speed awareness course because you're talking carp buddy
  14. 540 and reliable in a sentence don't go together I'm calling you out on that I can't help with the question but did the chain hit the magnesium crank case ? Do you have the original bar on?
  15. I went to the pub missed the aftermath anything exciting or we decided we should snitch on people?
  16. No offence but budget brand is anything froms Ms 250 downwards apart from the old 024 good pro saw and any husky that isn't a 5 or 3 model number some 2 series are good but they're getting on a bit now
  17. Man up do some push ups and operate a a 550 or 261 it'll last longer be more useful and have a better resale value
  18. It's Friday you're contractually obliged
  19. But at the end of the day the tree owners should take full responsibility nothing to do with Cowboys the customer authorised the work. I suppose it's a good way to pîss your neighbours off by reporting it though. I couldn't care less what people do to trees I've accepted the fact that dodgy folk will do tree work no huffing or puffing will stop that. It's the customer that loses out and it's the customers fault for choosing poor contractors
  20. Have a beer or 6 mate
  21. It is a home owners saw you know.
  22. Get yourself to the pub that's better than spending time doing this
  23. I've got all 3 and as good as the 200t is people need to stop looking at it through rose tinted glasses, the av rubbers are weak the chain brake handles are weak the chain catchers are weak and they will almost certainly have carb issues, the 540 is just weak I would not recommend this saw it cuts well when it's not broken, the 201 is my choice it's basically maintance free and it's well built, the vast majority of the lads I work with have them and they have never changed a plug in them I recommend you check your fuel or carb settings if you're burning through plugs.
  24. CJM

    Could you help?

It's a home owners saw is it worth all this effort?
  25. Washing line pulley? Could of been stuck in the wood, lucky you didn't cut through it
