  1. I've owned and used the large spitting maul from gransfors for years and can only say its a work of art and a pleasure to use, it's split tons of serious wood and its none the worse for it.... It's the only maul for me...
  2. I know that rob! But it's the same warning light for handbrake on and low pad wear (if fitted) and fluid level..
  3. Defiantly and should be first thing to check as above check brake fluid level
  4. My defenders handbrake light will do this if the hand brake isn't pushed fully down, could be worth checking the ratchet for any obstruction stopping it from seating properly, ???

  19. First thing I thought was " splitting in trainers!" Then it became obvious, he needs them for that long run up! haha
  20. For anyone suffering with damaged nerves like sciatic be carefully with any kind of heat treatment , as the heat swells the nerves and makes it worse, found this out after buying a job lot of heat pads to wear DOH!!
  21. I fell through a old shed roof a couple months ago and landed on the back of my head on a concrete floor, surprisingly didn't hurt that bad but as a result I had to got to get it checked out and it turned out I'd got two compressed discs in my neck and three compressed discs in my lower back. Started seeing a chiropractor on a weekly basis and its getting so much better. He recommends a visit every 3 months to keep all us hard working types in check!

    Gates

Well mutly I'm no expert probably only made a couple hundred gates in my time, my thinking on this is if your gate is twice as high as it is wide and your making braced ledged and framed gates then 45*is the optimum and preferred angle but if your gate is any other size ie not twice as high to width then it's not possible!
