  4. Yeh it's alright if your not in a rush, it'll chomp through the brash ok but can be a little frustrating if your used to a bigger chipper, to be honest I can't justify a bigger chipper with the amount of tree work I do
  5. Yeh I do find it works well for me, tree work is only about 30 % of the business (rural contractor) and for the rest the van back is handy on my truck.. I've seen the thread you put up was interested to see another trailer chipper combo in use... My chip box is basically a 5' cube, and the chipper is a little gravity fed entec chippit .

  11. All I know is when I was in the coastguard cliff rescue team, our section manager wrote off a brand new 200 m 14mm climbing rope because it got contaminated with petrol/ oil mix that we used in our winch..... They'd not have cut it up and binned it if wasn't deemed necessary ! Who knows ??
  12. Haha I ain't heard that since I was in the playground
  13. Shame you put it threw the washing machine as now it will have been totally contaminated, , should of just cut away the contaminated section 😔
  14. The feller (who will remain nameless😉) got a bit excited , it was also being gently winched!

  16. That's about what I thought 4" thanks for your reply and sorry for derailing your thread , it certainly does work well for a little chipper and just about big enough for my needs at the min, good luck with yours and I hope you get your ignition sorted
  17. I recently bought an entec chippit with the 18hp k engine, does anyone know what the maximum size wood it'll eat , seems absolutely fine with 3" any advise on this appreciated
