  10. personally i go get the tractor and shove em out the way with the loader......famous in the village now and at harvest the roads are clear now...
  11. yep its quite quick,it will do 42kmh with the trailer full.. when its wet tho it does get shoved round the roundabouts and with a full load its down slow on the downhill sections,the crane has to be removed to fit the brakes and costs £0000 to refit.

  17. yes it is, i have the pleasure of 12 years of self employment so am blessed with the nice toys at my employed job now. if all tree cutters had to be self employed for a min 5 years it would help im sure. the employed population is thin in this country so those that are employed seem to be the ones that know how to work and take just wages.

  19. well as groundie employed i own all my own ppe and saws,altho i dont use my own saws they are provided.I paid my own way at college and have tickets to climb work.along side chipper and tractor ticket i still earn less than £10 per hour and commute 40 miles a day in my own car. i get paid every week 5 days a week and the work equipment is in good condition........
