  1. i deface all my saws and kit....the small 230 is waitinfg the treatment. we have a severe problem keeping kit here,had 3 tarmacing scousers walk past our site yesterday its a dead end so they walked back to their job.....obviously they go for a walk on tea break.... so its down to noise in my book,wonder if the leccy top andles are ok for work as i bet there quiet.

  3. lol thats a bit extreme but hey ho it works with some, we are much more gentle here i just think it may take him some time to get my sense of humor.ill just keep working as hard as i can lol be ok.. thing is im alot older and he is takeing a chance with me hopefully based on my relialability and steadyness.....phook hes makeing me sweat lol..litttle b u gg er is a hard muther...

  6. its under armed guard but it some times causes me hassle.been busted in but they didnt get my kit just cleared the cab out of sat nav and burger van funds not to mention the pink floyd cds:sneaky2: its just too common these days regarding landys .grrrrrrrrr:sneaky2:
  7. so me new boss is proper knackered and yet he is still paitent with me... he is a real nice bloke but today didnt see the humor when i offered to "love him long time 10 dollar!":001_rolleyes: think ill stay with him despite the refusal...... anyone else upset their boss today?
  8. lol i tried to burn that stuff in my garden that i cleared,in no terms does it accept alot of red doozel and burn... i was quite up set:lol:

  11. awesome,used the GCRS today .wot fun however im not used to the bite point and bounced the boss around a bit.he was very polite!!!!!! i think i will load it on most jobs now.fantastic bit of kit.

  13. yeah i think the rescue/second climber is supposed to be on the ground lol.. we all know in reality the jobs are shared and most people climb at some point during the working week.
  14. i keep me stuff locked up and insight if im in the woods workin and lose sight of the landy i cut a hole and drive in,they are stupid and brave these days and soon apear at all types of site to steal what they can .its not like good old bank robbery their sneaky these days.
  15. so when doing reductions with another climber is there a third climber on the deck?

  20. any groundie worth their salt wil be able to keep the site clear and own a pair of spikes,a must in the job in our book,no need to stand all day but just be ready and aware if out of sight of the climber..
  21. it was the access,on foot only.big holly oak .very windy.dead wood etc..... the boss decided we should both be ready as i agreed.he got a clout in the face and needed help down.the wind basically had him. he was down within 2 minuets and away from the tree. not the best day we have had but made use of my ascender and spikes that day,i had the spikes on super quick as there velcro strapped and just skipped up the tree to him with a strop.funny we discussed it the other day and that was 10 years ago ..... so just 1 rescue in 10 years so far.....
