  1. I'd be more worried about gypsum plaster board, paint and a whole host of other common household things around the home. Especially MDF or manufactured timber items off gassing formaldehyde etc. Burn safely and in a newish fireplace and you'll be fine 🙂. Know too much and you'll be eying up the hermit lifestyle, hermit not Kermit. That a whole lot of porcine domestic abuse!.

  15. Didn't they do the home heating/cooling override thing last year in America with those Hive connected temperature controllers. Whilst I'm not a complete tin foil brigadier, I barely understand the reasons to install a web connected thermostats. But you can turn it on before you get home from your phone, erm yeah it's called a timer, same with smart meters.

  17. They aren't much larger than a keyring, so check coat, bag etc. But try the locate feature for it to beep, it uses Bluetooth so with be findable with the apple locate.

  23. Cmon, even I thought of a paper cut to the throat!. The real death knell is a 2nd class stamp being 68p, parcel wise it's actually reasonable. I use the RM exclusively for any parcels.
