  1. Maybe he wants a callout to check if that new build sapling can take a fat arsed rugby player going up against it ?.
  2. Shock horror, pay people more and the cost of goods goes up and they are still left in real terms the same as they were before. Maybe if they replaced the bank of England management with self made millionaires reality would miraculously reappear.
  3. They don't live that long, that atleast 12 generations according to google
  4. I knew Myxomatosis was rare in Hares, but having seen it in rabbits they become absolutely oblivious to everything and become an easy fox meal. But like you said, it might have not seen you as a threat. Usually they hunker down if they're a bit unsure before bolting off into the undergrowth. It's that or you found the thicko of the bunch 🙂
  5. What about Myxomatosis, granted the eyes looked clear or could have just been deaf.
  6. Probably looking at 3 pallets if you're asking a pallet force company. At a rough guess around £200 as it's both volume and weight.
  7. Bloody youngsters, mocking us with their 1 points!. I'd actually hate to see what the version of that list is for a Gen Z. I'm surprised that list didn't include being Tango'd
  8. Without wheeling out the ole trust me I'm a welder quote and insert other job titles as necessary 😉. Probably best finding a dedicated DPF garage that's got a decent reputation. But never a bad thing checking the simple things like the vaporiser or add some more cleaner but let it sit for 30-45 minutes. Anything more complicated is a diagnostic tool job and it's pointless just going to a normal plug & play change a part kinda garage. Especially if it's adblue as that's an electronic injector system.
  9. Refering to his videos, that sensor pipe is the way he adds the cleaner. Which seems the most logical way to add a cleaner without removing the DPF, if the vaporiser is the problem it shouldn't reoccur once sorted.
  10. I watched one last night DPF problems, guy spent thousands and not got sorted including a new particulate filter etc. This guy hooked it up to the diagnostic, realised the wing mirror had been replaced that didn't have a temp sensor. Did his usual DPF cleaning, new wing mirror and other than a fan that needing replacing all sorted. Having watched plenty, I'd suggest looking at the fuel vaporiser, you can do that without taking it apart and probably on your driveway.
  11. I'd watch a few of these and you'll find most garages don't seem to know what to do.
  12. Probably because he's not pressing on the drop down powered by Google box under the postcode. If you don't, it remains blank, maybe force it to accept the postcode if you hit search twice ?.
  13. I still use an old style sawtec high speed head. It's probably considered old school and manual but 3.3mm line lasts forever, bought a 2.25kg spool of the stuff and I've still got half a spool after 15years.
  14. I've an older 2011 it drives and feels a bit agricultural, but earns it's keep if you actually use the gearbox and don't just lead foot it around. Tows well, but it's like driving the QE2. If you're near cities get a post 2016 euro 6 to avoid any future congestion charge stuff, I will be upgrading, probably to a post 2016 or Toyota.
  15. Depends which side of the pants the kick was intended 😉
  16. Thing is you've not found if they haven't done the necessary checks and just not given you a piece of paper that details what you or the AA want in word form. That's the real legal sticking point, as if they've just passed your equipment without checks that's their neck on the line.
  17. Is it 60mm ?
  18. What's the obsession with an litigious definition and solution?.
  19. Maybe make a new rubber gasket from an old tyre inner tube ?.
  20. I would also look and test this, they do fail. STIGA PARK RIDE-ON LAWNMOWER 12V STARTER SOLENOID 1134-2962-01 WWW.GOOGLEADSERVICES.COM Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for STIGA PARK RIDE-ON LAWNMOWER 12V STARTER...
  21. Whilst comparable, providing I got an MOT certificate that's on the system that's fine. I don't need the check list saying he's emptied the ash tray & refilled the magic smoke. Essentially the equipment has an active test report, as bolt says it's down to your boss to say the report isn't upto snuff. You pays your money and take your chances, like your car take it elsewhere next time if you're not happy or give them the chance to sort it and they may even appreciate the feedback.
  22. Annoyed maybe, but have you spoken to them to add those details?. Just because your report lacks certain information AA requested, does not mean they haven't checked the equipment.
  23. Yeah, the Bosch 1137328081 part is probably a huge relay or maybe a soft starter. As it's 12v DC they have to make them pretty beefy due to the large amount of amp draw and inevitable arc when switching on/off.
  24. I could have been a little more tactful, but learn by doing. For a tenner it's worth trying, they might even get it right 1st time.
  25. You don't have 2 minutes to sharpen a chain, yet you ask a forum of tree types the best method and that is the quickest and best method. It's quicker to sharpen than take off a 16" chain. It's like learning to ride a bike a skill for life, or just pay a man and van to log it and lump it.
